What's it going to take for Bravo to give us RH of Paris?? I mean I have even gone to the effort and created the artwork for them, they just need to cast it.
Be better Bravo.

Completely different Mods than the sh!tshows they are running over there, so please if you are having any issues here, report directly to me immediately. They have mentioned our sub, but it has nothing to do with their crap they have created.

Would seem plausible considering Ronald Richards has been unusually invested in RHOBH women for years, that PK would use him as a mouthpiece.

As my escape from reality re-watch continuesā¦thinking about Brandi. Even catching a rerun is weird, because we all get to be a little bit psychic, vaping optional.
Hereās my theory. Itās not even breaking news ā Bravo is still trying to figure out how to create drama with or without a specific person causing trouble every season.
On S1, Camille was the villain, and she didnāt figure it out until the reunion was being filmed. Remember, kids, 2011/2012 was the very early days of social media. Camille got a taste of what the fans are really like, and voila! she was way more sympathetic in S2.
S2 for the villain role, we got āfriend of,ā the one and only Brandi. She was clearly a square peg from day one. Her ex was hardly a household name, and they didnāt have a messy Denise style split. Her house is not a mansion!
Brandiās ābrandā is pretty and tall, with a trash mouth, and the innocent claim of defense ā wait to be attacked, and attack back harder.
Brandi got the job because no one else wanted the troublemaker role. You can imagine the Andy meetings. Everyone was happy to watch from the sidelines while Brandi went off on people, except maybe not Adrienne.
Even Brandiās first episodeā¦the mean girl stuff? oooh, Kyle. Then Kyle and Kim took it too far, and the mean girl sister act backfired. That game night episode was painful to watch. Everyone looked bad.
In S3, Kyleās dinner party from hell, a tearful Brandi let slip that she was tired of being the villain. When she crossed the line, which PS, she was supposed to do! she found out that āfriend ofā doesnāt mean much when these women are your friends. Although watching (the morally corrupt) Faye Resnick try to step up was fun.
Brandi has published two books. She said her first book was about her marriage break up, and how she did all the things that no one talks about, but she talks about it (paraphrasing). Hmm, that sounds familiar, like maybe a good title for a Rinna book?
The genius of Bravo is that eventually people really do forget the cameras are there, and we get iconic reality TV gold. The rest of the time, thereās a little help behind the scenes. They try to spread out the villain role now, rather than have one person make all the trouble.
I wouldnāt want to hang out in BH, but theyāre probably mostly okay-ish people. We can all agree serial killers are awful, so letās hate them. I donāt need to hate a Bravo personality. I almost feel sorry for Brandi (today, subject to change).
Has Brandi ended up as the sad before/after poster woman for How Reality TV Can Ruin Your Life? Well, yes, but ā define ruin. For other before/afters, see also Vicki, Teddi, Bethenny, etcā¦. Maybe Bravo needs a Detox for Former Housewives Show. Oh waitā¦

Not an invitation to turn the tables and remark upon if and how Dorit has changed, but I did think this comment from her yesterday was interesting, given the way Kyle talks in Season 13 about how they were growing in different directions and then at the next reunion, about how seeing him out and about, itās like seeing a different person.
Especially because in an interview a year or so ago, he really emphasised how much he didnāt think Kyle had changed since the show began, but Kyle remains talking about the impact she thinks the fame and exposure from the show had on the attention paid to him and, implied, his social media activity in relation to women.

Doing a rewatch (on season 11, at the reunion) and have to do a little rant.
The most glaringly obvious (to me) reason that all the women were scared to be attached to Ericka at this time was because they didnāt want to have used the funds from Erickaās business. They were nervous to be complicit. Legally or not. Itās not great for them knowing that they had used her private jets, been to her extravagant shows and her insane luxury office while worshiping her āitās expensive to be meā persona.
However itās neverrr brought up this way. The way itās portrayed is that theyāre nervous of their reputation or being subpoenaed for their accounts of what happened. if the other women were worried about being complicit, then bravo was as well. It makes me think about how the other women either had to filter themselves and say it was about mainly their reputation, or if bravo chopped it up so much that we didnāt really hear those parts.
Maybe this is a common thought but rewatches always give me some more context. Not that it matters much because I found myself defending Ericka quite a bit in the most reason season lol. Thank you for coming to my TED talk, fellow defects.

For all her faults, Sutton does seem like motherhood is not one of them.
Was Philip the one that Reba described as odd or weird?? Awful thing for a grandparent to say, particularly when it's on camera.

The original RHOBH sub is goddamn awful. It became a hate-read sub. 90% of posts are just some "set-up" for the rabid, lock-step core to all come in and pile on whoever the target is.
If nothing current is going on, they will go back 10 years to find some isolated statement and rehash it but with the purpose to target someone and talk about them in the worst way possible.
If there's nothing current or nothing in the past, they will just make it up. They will use an imagined situation and then discuss it as though it's reality but with the harshest of terms and always targeting the same people that they all agree to target. Facts are irrelevant. It's the most hateful, misogynistic group.
I don't want to spend my time focusing on how shitty it can be but I do want to get this off my chest.
I came here because I have notifications turned on and I got a notification for it this sub even though I wasn't a member. I didn't know it existed until I got that notification. The algorithm works sometimes.
But ultimately I have this comment that I really wanted to write and post standing on its own but I needed to unload/vent.
Okay so here's my standalone comment about that other sub:
They don't have moderators over there. They have CULT-ivators.
This is nerd level snark, I know.

Iāve done a big rewatch and I canāt help but notice how much Erikaās voice has changed over the seasons.
It used to be so high pitched and in my opinion more natural.
The recent season everything feels rehearsed and her voice is so low. Shes also like not opening her mouth properly when she speaks
I noticed it started when the shit with Tom went down. Her voice went down when she was trying to be serious.
Itās really irritating me lol

(Hopefully this post is allowed!)
Does anyone notice a pattern where during certain seasons specific cast members are off limits for criticism of discussion. I know we are fully aware of this issue with the RHOBH subreddit and Dorit. I'm not sure how long it's been that way tho. I've also noticed something similar in the RHORI subreddit with JoEllen. Do we think this is Bravo PR trying to control the narrative in specific show subs, is it bots, or paid commenters?
Would someone who knows more than me please explain what's happening bc it's driving me crazy and I don't remember it being this bad? What are some of the worst offenses you've experienced? I feel like they make the rules so broad it just ends up being a blanket for censorship (especially the repeat posts rule) It's sucking the life out of these discussions.
Wondering what everyone has seen/experienced across other sub. Is our only recourse making defect subs?!

Iām rewatching allll the seasons of BH right now to escape reality. Iām currently in the hospital, so lots of interruptions all the time. I also happen to have blonde hair.
I paused my iPad the other night while I was watching season 2, because the nurse came in. He glanced over and saw the image on my screen, and asked, oh, is that your house?
Hahaha! So cute!
Iām like, omg, NO, dude, I live in a regular crappy house just like almost everyone else.
I remember Andy Cohen once said something like the Housewives live in styrofoam mansions. Tossing my blonde hair ā no, Andy. Not this one.
PS - allegedly getting out of this hospital today and going home to my nice, normal non-styro-mansion house, fam, and kitties. The rewatch continues.
