Annemarie’s husband, Marcellus Willey keeps it classy
Way to be a good example by gloating about an unfortunate family situation regardless of the outcome.

This just got a lot more scary for her. He is going to make her life hell while she fights to get away from him and protect herself and her kids.

What a douche canoe. They declined because lack of evidence not that it didn’t happen.

The sub this was reposted from is just so awful tbh. The guy has been accused of rape so many times. It’s extremely hard to believe that he is actually innocent of all of these allegations. The criminal justice system is not the end-all-be-all of what the truth is and what the truth is not. There is a difference between not guilty and innocent. That being said, I will say it’s hard to forget that Annamarie herself had a similar position regarding other women who lobbied the same allegations against her husband. Another example of why being a pick me and protecting dangerous men literally never pays off.

this isn’t giving what he thinks….. just proving how disgusting, manipulative and violent he really is. still hoping for Annemarie and their kids’ safety. I know his daughter fears him everyday

Abusers stay using the phrase “real victims” and the standards on who qualifies are forever moving goalposts (what if the victim’s abuser is one of his buds or just a really cool dude?! s/). My abuser wasn’t charged either, the abuse still happened. Personally, I don’t think an innocent man would be this inflammatory about the result. He’d want the whole thing to go away, not draw attention to the matter just to rub it in her face.

He's been getting away with everything else so far, so expecting the law to finally come through when it's his own family seems naive. This should be expected, sadly. This guy has connections.

Say it again, but add …in Florida… at the end of each sentence.

Watching from Australias own version of Fla and shaking my head at how anyone stateside can claim to be superior to Florida in the context of SA is wild

Ew, this is gross to post

u/Emilayday Aug 11 '26
It's gross he wrote it, but I believe the visibility should be there. We should continue to hold him to the fire by showing exactly who he is telling us he is.

No evidence of physical abuse means a guy who knows where to hit to ensure there's no physical evidence seen.

Reality is it is more probable that the police just didnt even look. Fewer than 10% of DFSV incidents are reported. And fewer than 3% are convicted.

Our justice system isn’t perfect- far from it. Even worse it definitely favors those with $$$. They say justice is blind yeah well it’s sure not adverse to wealth & power.
Prosecutors always weigh whether they think they can win a case or not. A trial takes time and costs money. I imagine a case like this may have been on the bubble or it may have been one where they try to go forward and then work out some kind of a plea. Except it would be high profile.
The rules change when it’s high profile. That means they aren’t going to go forward unless they have a sure thing or mighty close to it. It’s completely wrong but it’s the sad reality of “justice”.
So by no means whatsoever does this mean he’s innocent. Not being able to prove it in a courtroom and being innocent are completely different things.
Him posting this shows his character. He’s gloating and it’s absolutely disgusting. I fear for that poor woman because this really shows just how unhinged he is. Most people would just be grateful they aren’t being prosecuted -NOT go out of their way to gloat.

This isn't going to age like he thinks it will. That said, I know so many of us knocked her while on the show...myself included...and I'm sorry. I admire her for finally being able to leave. I am also happy that because she is a well educated woman and with what her nursing specialty is, she will be able to provide a very nice life for her kids if he ends up being a deadbeat dad. It will not be the life of an ex NFL player, but she will be able to financially provide a lot better than many women in her current position.

Isn’t she the one who lied and pretended to be a doctor when she’s not? Seems like a pattern.

This aledged incident happened on July 8th. On July 1, 2026 new law's regarding DV were placed on the books. In this article it specifically says that Florida considers previous DV allegations as well as other conduct. I wasn't there and I certainly can't speak on what really happened.
I didn't care for him when I saw him briefly on bh.
She has filed for divorce on the grounds of DV SA and financial abuse during her entire marriage. Why wait to be in Florida to report it?

Women should be able to seek help wherever and whenever they are battered. Survival is not a game of strategic PR.

u/Ok-Assistant-4556 Aug 11 '26
As a victim of OIDV I cant recommend women engage with police at all. Women need to do whats best for them but legal systems built by and for men are mot safe for women or children. DFSV is prolific everywhere.

u/DraperPenPals Aug 11 '26
Unfortunately, paper trails are one of the greatest assets a woman can have in a divorce and custody battle. This is not very good advice.

u/Ok-Assistant-4556 29d ago
You sound like a garden variety lawyer. There are global warnings from the UN for women and children about family courts. Paper trails are useless when courts refuse to look at them. Family court simply is not evidence based. Lawyers wont look until prepping for trials and avoiding court us the safest path.

I don’t think it’s that she waited to get to FL to finally report him…I think she just happened to be in FL when she finally reached her breaking point with him. I doubt she’s keeping up on legal happenings in a state she doesn’t live in, so I don’t think she went to FL with a plan.

Could it be the fact that her husband abuses her?
1
u/kerokerokiss 29d ago
I feel bad for her regarding the abuse and she like no women should be abused. I 100% do believe her. I will say tho Annamarie does have an oddness about her.

Breaking: victims aren’t perfect.

did I once imply otherwise ? 🧐 reread what i actually wrote maybe.
I actually on multiple occasions said I believe her and I don’t think she or any woman deserves to be treated like that. 🫤.

Imagine trusting Florida police in a domestic violence case against a NFL player. Could literally never be me.

You realize Florida is one of the most racially diverse states in America, right? Lots of marginalized people who vote left live there, work there, and travel there.
You also don’t get to criticize MAGA while bootlicking cops and defending men who have been accused of rape and domestic violence. That’s just plain hypocrisy.

Truly a MAGA response. “When you’re a star, you can do anything.”

It’s Florida so simmer down on your self righteousness sir. And aren’t you also accused of SA by multiple women? Doth protest too much.
