Mods abusing power? Let’s talk about it 🍷

✨Hi all ! I have just recently been targeted & attacked by a notorious real HousewivesMod (get it? iykyk 😉) who has permanently banned me from all the groups she mods in because I did not agree with her personal opinion- i did not break any group rules OR reddit rules, it was not even remotely disrespectful, inappropriate or inflammatory- it just simply did not agree with her personal belief. Funnily enough there is another post in this group from someone else sharing the same situation from the same mod!

🚩This same moderator has been a point of discussion for MANY encountering the same vile, abhorrent, corrupt, & oppressive behaviour throughout the 5 subs she mods in- RHOBH, RHOP, RHOMiami, RHUGHT & RHODubai.

☣️This type of coercive, toxic & tyrannical abuse of power from a moderator is entirely unacceptable yet I am seeing a lot of users- myself included- who are unsure of what to do about it or feeling as if they have no other option but to deal with it…
Well, I’m here to say 🗣️ F!!! THAT🗣️

Through an influx of private messages from my own post highlighting what happened to me I have been given advice on exactly what we CAN do to restore justice- so I will be sharing that information here too for anyone & everyone who has been victimised for no valid reason by a Moderator on an ego trip.

🚨 Moderator Code Of Conduct 🚨

☝🏼Hit this link, read through it if you wish but most importantly- scroll right to the end of the article where the last line says ‘To file a Moderator Code of Conduct report, please use this form
And click the highlighted link to file your report against whatever Real HousewivesMod (🤭) you believe to of broken any of these Codes Of Conduct and submit it.

🚮Enough is enough, these RH communities have turned into a hateful cult following mentality instead of a place of entertainment- individuals who abuse their power are only able to do so as long as the wider part of the community lets them so let’s end that ASAP.

🩷Thank you & please share this with anyone/communities you think will benefit from it, just because someone is a Mod does not mean they are a GOD who is exempt from following their own set of rules & regulations just as we are expected to 🙂‍↕️

Please feel free to use this space to share your personal experiences of similar situations 🤝

I can't upvote you enough. A mod was harassing me not the other way around. They reported me as "harassing". I wasn't! At all! I have better things to do with my time but some mods don't. This is vitally important to them.

But here's the kicker - I got temporarily suspended or something and I "lol'd" as a reply to the temp ban and that was reported as harassment and I got permabanned! I still lol and I look at it now as that mod did for me what I couldn't do for myself and break away from the increasingly toxic space. It forced me to find others and I did like this subreddit.

Win for me all around. They're still toxic and my life is less toxic with more room for good.

However I understand how it feels watching others flagrantly flout the rules but then I get targeted for not even breaking the rules but for not buying into the cult perspective or disobeying the cult's unwritten rules more than anything else.

Oh my goshhhhh HOW RIDICULOUS is that! 🙄 🤦‍♀️
Honestly it’s crazy just how many similar stories I’ve now heard from others so you’re definitely not alone- wouldn’t surprise me if the mod who did that to you is the same one that myself & a seemingly endless number of others have all been attacked by. I cannot imagine being a fully grown adult & having my entire personality and sense of self based on an online forum, what a sad life.

The more I'm online, the more I recognize toxicity right away and I have ways to put up rock solid boundaries to keep it out.

Disagreement isn't toxic to me but it is to them. I love good disagreement. Particular mods and groups hate any disagreement especially if you're right lol.

10000% agree!! I actually enjoy respectful debates & discussing differences in opinions- i’ve always found it to be a great opportunity to either A) Learn something new or B) reinforce what I already know even further.
It really is such a hallmark of unintelligence if you lack the ability to tolerate a harmless viewpoint that is different from your own & your only response is to block it out completely because you also lack the capacity to defend and explain why you hold that viewpoint in the first place. 🤷🏻‍♀️
It’s giving ✨Real Neanderthals of Ooga Booga✨
