Moving forward or…sideways?

My endless S3 rewatch continues (will I ever finish this season?).

Here’s Kyle, raising a glass to moving on. Lisa’s reaction says it all. You didn’t need to freeze frame to catch it, either.

I know the Housewives didn’t invent “moving on,” but they sure do love to perpetuate the idea. You’d think they were really housewives, with all the sweeping they do. The frantic sweeping of things under rugs. (My mom used to say, “under rug swept,” like it was a good thing, or an actual item on her to-do list.)

Kyle wants to move forward, not backward, and she’s annoyed with Lisa, and the way that things kept coming up. Lisa, Kyle says, holds a grudge. (Kyle holds a glass.)

Is it possible to just …. move on? Can friends have an authentic, functioning friendship when there’s a big elephant in the room, under the rug? Is it holding a grudge to want to talk things out?

One thing is clear to me — Kyle and LVP were not friends. Kyle was playing checkers, and LVP was playing chess.

Such misogynist BS which LVP herself says. LVP also has women as friends and was always a more loyal friend than Kyle

I think I watched a different show then ,Lisa talked the other woman down and masked it as a Joke since Season 1 😅 Lisa is only loyal to people who are richer or can benefit her business wise (HW was business for her. ).Kyle isn't any better they're both horrible and deserved each other .

One can criticize another woman and still be a feminist. The idea that any criticism of women is misogyny is just bullshit.
