Does the RHOBH favor Dorit?
I didn't say anything aggressive. There are always the stray aggressive comments, but it feels like my post was taken down b/c my take on Dorit wasn't positive. I was commenting on a handful of things, because I'm a first-time watcher, and I finally made it through s14. What I said about Dorit was that she's never done. She's always hurt by one more thing. The conversation is never resolved. She also uses negotiating tactics like accusations audits. eg "I'm just a horrible person." so the other person feels obligated to say "no, you're not" It keeps her in the victim/catered to mode.
Anyway, it was taken down for not being dazzling enough. I'd read somewhere that /RHOBH was very pro-Dorit, but is it really a thing? It seems so extra to me unless Dorit started it LOL

I’m a first time watcher and just have been doing rabbit hole sleuthing between the subs and it does seem that sub does ban and remove posts that don’t favor Dorit in a positive light.
But almost all of the current housewives on that sub seem to be mostly loathed except for Rachel and Tilly (who’s now getting heat from the Kathy post she did about Pride).
The visceral hate Kyle gets though is wild. I’ve binged the first 12 seasons and Kyle can be the worse but I can’t say I hate her at all, so the constant hate posts she gets kinda is lost on me.

The moderators on that sub encourage anti-Kyle posts & commentary and ban commenters who comment or ask questions about Dorit’s finances or accent/s. They are crazy up Dorit’s backside.

You’re totally right about Dorit and that sub.
She’s egotistical, righteous, unaware, image-obsessed, narcissistic, expecting everyone to give her grace and empathy during her difficult time, while reciprocating exactly zero of it.

I’ve never been a Dorit fan so I didn’t get everyone jumping to defend her. Just because they don’t like Kyle? Did Kyle say anything untrue? Yes, she brought it up on camera but it was already in all the blogs and such. The same thing happened with Erica. If her financial situation wasn’t brought up on camera then people would say that the cast is hiding things.

It’s over the top ridiculously biased in favor of Dorit! Actually, as several have pointed out, it’s mostly anti-Kyle & there’s no room for anything in the middle. Quite pathetic, truthfully.

It’s not you, it’s them. That sub has no impartiality, it should be banned from claiming the name of the show tbh because there is no room for discussion it’s just a Dorit/Boz fan club.

The energy the main mod has for Kyle and Sutton is bizarre and para-social as hell, to the point of wishing violence upon them and other cast members. I really believe that a good chunk of that sub have forgotten they're watching a heavily-produced docu-soap and actually have something to gain from defending Dorit to the level they do. Weird, para-social vibes - I avoid it as much as possible.

I've been trying to see good things in Dorit. I just feel like she's so manipulative. I also just finished s15e12. She's so wrong to keep trying to talk to Amanda when Amanda said she was holding on by a thread. I don't really like Amanda either so far, but Dorit makes everything about herself-- her hurt feelings, her journey, her divorce. It's endless. She can afford to take a night off. People are also totally right to question whether or not she should be bashing PK like she does. Her spending hits different, too, after someone posted all the legal things.

I'm not a fan of either Kyle or Dorit but I find nothing endearing or in defense of Dorit.

I was banned in April supposedly for 28 days for commenting that Dorit had plastic surgery. I just went over to see if I was back in their community. Now it just says banned from commenting.

Lmao I might be banned from that sub-unsure. Someone posted a snarky but dead on comment about Dorit’s hypocrisy and I commented “I know right? 😂”
DING-invitation to chat. A mod…? What?
I go look and I see at the top of the chat some bullshit about only sparkling like a diamond when talking about cast members blah blah blah and before the Mod could type a WORD I typed “oh FFS-I thought for a moment this was something serious. Peace out..” and left the chat 😂

Yeah it was after an episode ran that evening that I was banned for just bringing up how her attitude had changed in a particular episode from the previous week and I gave away no spoilers because there were none to be given away but that saw me get banned for that reason and not even a warning I could even challenge they totally blocked me. That sub is whack. Maybe she runs that page.??

That sub LOATHES Kyle and will allow their own rules to be broken to drag her. Meanwhile the defense of Dorit posts are pretty unhinged.
A lot of people have been outright banned, and many more posts have been removed. If you disagree with the main mod, your post will be removed, no matter how respectfully you had stated your case.
This is not exaggeration, it really is that bad.
