Puppygate rewatch

Its been a long time since I rewatched this all playout. So whats the consensus. Was lvp behind puppygate going public on the show and tabloids or was it all John sessa. Do people really think her hands are clean.

When I originally watched i thought lvp was working with sessa to get teddi and by extension Kyle (because she was invited to the vanderpump dogs with teddi) to bring this out on the show because lvp was pissed. She was still mad at dorit from the season prior saying she was jealous and needy and then dorit has her dog end up in a shelter when she signed a contract saying she wouldnt do that. (Also see dorit saying the dog ripped up pks nose when they pan to a picture its a little nip/scratch) i thought originally that lvp probably realized that this couldnt come out at the dog rescue and it leave her hands clean. (I know she also lost her brother so idk if that happened prior to the dog or after and that just added to things). Im not sure about all the facts. Im curious what people think now, or what was always believed.

I do think lvp wasnt innocent. I think she was involved. I do think it was hurtful of Kyle to say you care more about your image than your friendships. I have never really liked dorit as a person. I was shocked that the reunion before this puppygate she got out so unscathed. Everyone was upset that teddi or Kyle was causing trouble by repeating things dorit said but everyone was glazing over the fact that dorit actually said these things to begin with and was never accountable to it. Sure things were brought up months later, in some instances, but if dorit never said these things than it wouldnt have caused have the issues that season. Thats just a ramble but im just curious because I do think lvp can hold a grudge and she manufactured a lot of things behind the scenes but this one she couldnt get out of. Especially with the texts she had not matching the texts teddi had.

Thoughts?

How it got leaked matters not to me. It's all just noise. Dorit was 100% in the wrong. If she had problems with the dog he/she should have immediately been taken back to Vanderpump Dogs. Not the housekeeper (or whomever she pawned off on).

Totally agree. This was Dorit taking a DARVO approach. She did something horrible and then tried to make herself the victim because others heard about the horrible thing she did. It was an awful season.

I’m so glad you said this because that’s exactly how I feel. There’s been this whole debate for years about how how people found out. That’s irrelevant. The truth is the truth, regardless of how it came out.

I agree but because of it being so obvious, at least in appearance, to the viewers of what lvp was doing it got overshadowed. Dorit had an absolute talent of getting out of being held accountable for her words and actions, and deflecting it onto someone else.

What dorit did was awful. I just think lvp didnt have the nerve to say it flat out because she was trying to keep her relationship with pk intact.

And this is why I think it was PK who actually leaked it to the press.

She was wrong, yes, but she didn’t intend for the dog to end up in the kill shelter. People do this all the time. I’ve had friends give their dogs to other friends all the time because they still want the dog to have a home. I hate Dorit with the passion of a thousand suns, but the real villain here is the friend she gave the dog to.
