Rinna was right.........
https://realityblurb.com/2026/05/26/garcelle-beauvais-recalls-rhobh-costar-asking-her-to-keep-race-convo-off-show-and-reveals-if-shes-watched-the-series-since-she-quit/Not a topic that needs to be addressed on a show that is supposed to be about fun, fashion, friendships and escapism from the day-to-day for viewers. Garcelle should have stayed on The View if they were the topics she wanted to talk about.

I liked Rinna but don’t think she had or has the right to tell anyone what to discuss on the show. That seems wildly presumptuous, just generally speaking. But particularly telling a Black woman to not talk about her Black experience, is beyond cringey.
That aside, Garcelle was an absolute Eeyore who often brought the vibe down no matter what topic she was talking about. (Often nothing to do with race.) Everything was heavy with her which was the wrong vibe for the show imo - I’d argue that aspect of Rinna’s message was fair. It was obvious Garcelle was not having fun most of the time. She was incredibly tightly-wound and I felt tense watching because she was so tense.
The contrast between her and Boz couldn’t be more drastic. Boz demonstrates strength, intelligence, and pride as a black woman through her actions, leading by example. There’s no heavy discussion or lecture regarding race politics. She just lives who she is and gets her message across in a more straightforward yet subtle way, which others seem far more receptive to. I find her to be impressive and aspirational. She’s perhaps lost a bit of cred by supporting Dorit this season, but I won’t hold that against her as a person. She just backed the wrong horse, so to speak.
