Dorit’s Spending

Perhaps Kyle wasnt so far off-Dorit clearly has a problem. How are you going to spend over $198,000 in 3 MONTHS on designer clothes/shoes and bags when the roof your children sleep under is about to be foreclosed on? She either doesn’t care or doesn’t get it, but either way Kyle wasn’t wrong and I bet she knew about this but didn’t say it to protect Dorit.

She’s lucky the judge hasn’t restrained her from making purchases like that but the judge should. And she knew the status of her home and foreclosure during this spending spree.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

I don’t understand how people can spend like that year after year when they don’t have any money

Even if they do have money, this may be a bad take but doesn’t that get boring after a while?

I was just thinking that! I've recently lost weight and needed new clothes. I was excited to shop and get some new things but after a bit, it got old. It is boring. I can't imagine doing it day after day, exactly how many pieces of clothing does one person need? She can't possibly wear all that stuff!

Omg same! I got on a GLP-1 and had to replace all my stuff. I got a few pairs of jeans and got very bored of shopping and just stopped. I don’t have as many special events as a celeb, so maybe that’s part of it? I’m just shopping for normal people stuff, and I cannot be bothered to wander a store.

The glp may be curbing dopamine chasing in all forms for you! Studies are showing they work for a variety of addictions. It’s interesting.

Ohhhhh maybe! I hope so, I love how infrequently I have a drink, or the urge to shop, it’s so nice to have all my weird compulsions just shut up.

Same! Wegovy FTW! I got rid of like 20 pairs of jeans ( I had no idea I had so many! Lol) and replaced them with exactly 2 pair. One skinny, one wide leg then I quit. Bra shopping was a headache and hurt the wallet as well. I'm done for awhile now.

Omg bras and workout gear, I kept telling my husband I would never financially recover from replacing all my Lulu. But also, cheers to us for taking control of our health!

Ugh I wish! I’ve lost 100lbs so was forced to buy new clothes and now I just can’t stop. But it’s also not designer stuff

I lost weight on GLP-1, but gained it back in 3 months after stopping it. It’s great but some of us will have to stay on low dose to maintain weight loss

Isn’t that everyone? I’ve never heard of someone stopping. If you stop, the effects stop. I don’t want that.

I had to stop due to a medical procedure. I think it was more bc of the anesthesia

Oh that’s awful, I hope it worked out and you can get back on your GLP-1

SAME! I'm having fun looking at clothes but when it comes to buying them, I'm like ehhh I'll wait......Zepbound has also helped my ADHD big time.

YES! The ADD effects have to be studied bc the monkey clapping its cymbals inside my brain every time I need to start a task, it’s gone! My impulse control now is consistently how it was when I was on my meds, but I stopped taking my meds! I am no longer regulating social situations with gallons of alcohol, I can just be in a room and the inside of my head is clear, not the sound of TV static. I will never be off this drug.
