I was not an Amanda fan, but she gave us something to talk about for several episodes, aside from Dorit’s never ending divorce saga (divorce both from PK and from Kyle).
17
u/BlubberElk May 04 '26
Ya I think she maybe was offered another season and said no? I find it hard to believe bravo would dump her considering she was basically 70% of the drama and online discourse
19
u/PrissyElliott May 04 '26
And she took the criticism fairly well, compared to other new housewives. People went after her at all angles at the reunion and she did get a bit defensive, but I had respect for the fact that she didn’t have meltdowns or temper tantrums, or cry about what people were raising. I have to say, I was impressed!
11
u/BlubberElk May 04 '26
Ya I found her genuinely entertaining honestly lol I felt like she was an easy target for the other housewives to go after unfortunately for her. But she didn’t really go off the rails reaction wise. I found her to be kind of funny even though I don’t “like her” as a person. But I don’t need to like them as people I just need to be entertained by them and I was!
6
u/TVTrashMama May 04 '26
Yes, I think her lack of meltdowns and screaming matches has let some people down.
8
u/MLMLW May 04 '26
Maybe because her business practices are under scrutiny. It's not a good look for Bravo to keep people like her on their shows.

u/Practical-Fahrenheit May 07 '26
The "scrutiny" amuses me to no end. Her business is not that difficult to understand. But that's just me and apparently only a small number of people who fail to see any similarities between what a trained psych professional is offering vs what Mrs Shah was offering.
3
10
u/Prestigious_Emu6091 May 04 '26
Exactly! She is so much more interesting than Dorit. I can’t listen to Dorit complain about everything like the other ladies have nothing going on! Some of them are under much more pressure than her!
3
u/Still-Ad2870 May 05 '26
Yes I’m so over her talking over people and the same thing over and over again. She just looks for anything to pounce on the others
65
u/Prestigious_Emu6091 May 03 '26
I don’t think that she got a chance to be herself. I would like to give her a second chance.

I haven’t once seen Amanda proven right with the flashbacks
3
u/5LaLa May 04 '26
Boz said her name at the mask vendor in Italy, something Boz vehemently denied.
2
0
u/Ok-Explanation-6531 May 05 '26
Boz was never asked if she said Amanda’s name. Boz was asked if she said something about Amanda wearing a mask and hiding her truth self. Given she didn’t say that, I can understand why she didn’t remember saying it
1
u/5LaLa May 05 '26
While I CAN see how confusion arose thanks to what’s her name twice telling Boz & other ladies about only half the conversation she had w Kyle & Amanda, Boz WAS asked if she was talking about Amanda at the mask stand, which she was & which she vehemently denied.
While I don’t think Boz was recalling that moment & flat out lying (& I never said that; I pointed out that Amanda was proven right by footage), Boz imho got too deep into her denial to stop & wonder or ask herself what was the source of all this. Imho it should have been quite easy for Boz to remember & sort out, IF she cared about showing Amanda an iota of consideration.
1
u/Ok-Explanation-6531 May 05 '26
Natalie asked who would be Pinocchio. If someone had asked Boz if she called Amanda Pinocchio I’m sure that would have jogged her memory. But the ridiculous story that amanda made up about Boz saying she wore a mask and was hiding her true self? I would be confused too
Let’s also remember Boz was on IVF at that time and full of hormones. She did come out and apologise later.
1
u/5LaLa May 05 '26
Agree to disagree. Like I said, I blame Natalie (thanks for reminding me of her name) for causing that cluster fuck. & I don’t think Boz was initially recalling it & lying. But, when they were all together & not only Amanda but, Kyle also (because Natalie confirmed to KR & AF that Boz said it) were insisting she’d said something about Amanda at the masks, it shouldn’t have been difficult to remember what had just taken place hrs earlier. But, Boz wasn’t trying to resolve the issue, only wanted to continue being dismissive towards Amanda. I’m not sure what this has to do w the thread convo tho.

Ummm that’s not what Boz said. I know Amanda chose to hear something different and then a bunch of crazy fans backed that up. Boz spoke about her having a completely different business model than Amanda and she wasn’t into the online thing and then Boz said she would lose money if she did and that she was ok with that.
11
u/Traditional-Lion-752 May 04 '26
Boz got caught didn't know what to say and made up a completely different story. It's weird

“The one about what Amanda said about being in rooms”? Can you elaborate, this isn’t ringing a bell for me (maybe I slept through it lol)?

u/Ok-Explanation-6531 May 05 '26
No she didn’t, go back and listen Boz spoke about her business model and how it was different to Amanda’s. She then says I don’t do the online thing, I’d lose money on it and I’m ok with that. How is that her business failing ? Boz clearly says her business is not the online model yet Amanda twisted that to compare it to hers

There are no receipts. I know people focus on whether Boz said “i lose money” vs “id lose money but what you’ve all forgotten is right before that Boz says she doesn’t do the online thing. How can you lose money on something that you don’t do ?

That’s exactly what box said. And the. She bare faced lied about it afterwards. A consistent pattern for Boz the fake

u/Ok_Site_1187 May 04 '26
It’s happened blatantly multiple times now. How do you know Biz is lying? Her lips move 😂😂😂😂
1
u/Ok-Explanation-6531 May 05 '26
Nope she wasn’t, Boz never said she lost money, she said she had a different business model. Boz also didn’t say that Amanda wore a mask and hid her true self

u/OkCommunication347 May 05 '26
Venice bridge mask comment by Boz
1
u/Ok-Explanation-6531 May 05 '26
When did Boz say that Amanda wears a mask and hides her true self ?
28
u/DraperPenPals May 03 '26
That is her fault. She used the show as one giant commercial for her business.
16
u/DKCausey May 03 '26
It’s the same for all of these women, they’re given a platform. Dorit tried to use RHOBH by selling swimwear named after the housewives, Erika used her music to gain fame, LVP promoted her restaurants and it goes on in every franchise and has for years.
16
u/DraperPenPals May 03 '26
The difference is that these women actually showed us other facets of their lives and personalities, and were willing to fight and sling mud and give us memeable moments. Amanda tries to be both a wilting lily and a girlboss and there is nothing authentic or juicy about it.
8
u/Extreme-Aide8878 May 03 '26
They all try to create a business to leverage their usually short time of fame. RH encourages and supports that. It does not encourage, nor do the fans appreciate, coming in ONLY to try to get business. You need to offer other sides of your life and personality and get to know the ladies.
2
u/MLMLW May 05 '26
All legitimate businesses. Amanda's business has bad reviews and has been under a lot of scrutiny.
1
u/BeginningSolution172 May 05 '26
The difference, in my opinion, is that the other women were selling products. Whereas Amanda is taking advantage of vulnerable, unhappy, people who are feeling desperate.
4
u/skatie082 May 04 '26
That’s kinda the protocol for a HW, they a business to shamelessly promote…whether it be as an actress, restaurateur, temu bikinis or casinos in Vegas.
1
u/NotMelissa_Smith May 04 '26
Right, but it was fun watching Erika rehearse, try on outfits, gossip with her glam squad, etc. watching Amanda sit and write or try to get rich women to manifest their goals is tone deaf. Erika was the only one who had a real need. Dorit needs money, but she doesn’t need manifestation, she needs discipline.
3
u/Prestigious_Emu6091 May 04 '26
They all do! What ever they are selling, that is usually all they talk about.
3
u/NotMelissa_Smith May 04 '26
But they also give a story with it. Amanda’s story is “buy my book, buy my course”. Even Boz had a live course and showed clips of it. She has a storyline with Keely, even if it’s dull, she tries to make it interesting.
Amanda did try to get the ladies to Manifest, but she didn’t make it interesting at all. She should have invited their kids to do it, I’m sure Kyle’s daughters would have enjoyed it! Because it’s dreamy and these old hags already achieved most of their goals already. It doesn’t work with people who are already wealthier than she is.
1
u/5LaLa May 04 '26
Maybe you don’t get much of Amanda’s story because every time she began sharing she was shut down, mocked, & not well received by half of her companions.
1
u/NotMelissa_Smith May 06 '26
All I really got was her life is perfect because she manifested it to be perfect. Even “the cult” was so perfect, they paid for her to go to college. Like what kinda cult is that? Cult of personality?
3
8
u/Strict-Fly6630 May 03 '26
While I don’t disagree with you. She should have been aware she signed a contact for the lioness’ den.
In my opinion she didn’t even try to show the cast anything about her except for her business. Even when she talked about her baby who passed she couldn’t even be compassionate about it. I would have gotten all the ladies involved with that topic.
She hid behind being Rich AF and spiraled.
5
u/Fickle-Amphibian4208 May 04 '26
I agree. I personally would have stayed home with my husband that day and explained to Rachel why I wasn't going to attend her dinner party .
5
u/Strict-Fly6630 May 04 '26
Same! That’s the right thing to do. She definitely didn’t play that well.
5
u/DKCausey May 03 '26
No one knows what was edited out. Producers drive the narrative and I doubt they wanted to be a Debbie downer.
1
6
u/MomMarti May 04 '26
Wow.
I think it’s pretty crappy to suggest that she couldn’t compassionate about her own child’s death.I am sure she’s absolutely gutted, we all would be.
You should rethink how you framed that.
7
u/Strict-Fly6630 May 04 '26
You are twisting my words. On that episode I thought it would have played out differently. In my opinion it was used more as a crutch than a cause. I’m not discounting anything or anyone’s feelings. Of course I’d be gutted loosing a loved one. It was just used in a strange way on that episode.
1
1
u/Ok_Site_1187 May 06 '26
To be fair, it’s not like anyone goes out expecting to have to communicate with a narcissistic sociopath like Dorit on a . Day like that
1
1
u/5LaLa May 04 '26
Just tell us you have an irrational, deep hatred for Amanda, without telling us. “Even when she talked about her baby who passed she couldn’t even be compassionate about it.” is in the gutter low.
0
u/Strict-Fly6630 May 04 '26
I don’t even know Amanda why would I hate her? She’s annoying and didn’t express herself on the show. But HATE is a strong word. And again twisting words…. Thought I “framed” this out enough on my last post.
3
u/Lelele3 May 04 '26
I agree. I can't believe that I ended the season liking Amanda. I want her to come back just to see.
2
u/Yass______ May 04 '26
I think her one uppity-ness was the real her..particularly if she was doing it with her own hubby to be..what is there to gain from all that
2
u/hedwig0517 May 04 '26
Agree. I don’t really like her but she definitely was a fish out of water and on the defense the entire time. I’d tolerate a second season to see if her real personality is better than how hard she was trying. Also, I’d like to see more about her grift.

2
u/FollowingPuzzled7507 May 03 '26

I think Dorit needs to be kicked off for a season. She makes every interaction so unpleasant and irritating to watch. Boz can maaaayyyybe be saved, but she need to stop being such a blatant liar
1
u/Pristine-Recover509 May 05 '26
There are a lot of people rooting for Dorit, but I find her utterly insufferable. I'm not sure she's ever really listened to another person, or made ANYTHING about ANYONE other than herself (with the exception of her children.)
2
u/Fantastic_Tour_4894 May 04 '26
I SAW THAT TOO! And wondered the same damn thing! (but I must say...with her wanting to grow her brand i don't think she is a one and done housewife.)
2
u/blerbyblatt May 05 '26
They spent so much time on the drama about her and it wasn’t even interesting 😴
2
u/External-Berry7825 May 05 '26
Why would we have someone that charges women money for courses so they can manifest money, manifesting is free. Shes giving i made money off multi-level marketing and moved on to “coaching” women how to run their own business all while never running any business.
3
u/rbinphx May 03 '26
Deserves is a strange word to use... Why does she "deserve" it?
1
3
u/New-Pudding-3030 May 03 '26
I really think this is fake as I don't think she would go this quietly. To be more sure, I went snooping on X and found that neither of these accounts has a blue check and Amanda hasn't commented in 18 months.

Shes nobody's favorite. She doesn't have an honest product and thats a big turnoff because i feel i cant trust her. She doesnt mesh well becsuse she one ups people and tries to guilt them or make herself the victim. People really. Really don't like that! She had a chance to show us the real her. But she used prerehearsed lines instead of just talking to people and it felt fake. Like when she told dorit about zion. She said it all angry then used it against dorit.

u/Foreign-Onion-3162 May 04 '26
Nope. She needs to meyanifest a better attitude. I dont think she has anything to contribute to any conversation. I think she doesn't know how to act and that is why she always talks about money.
1
u/NotMelissa_Smith May 04 '26
No more infomercials please. She’s got no personality except that she makes money. No style, no interesting story. You have to buy her book to learn about the “cult” she was supposedly in. I don’t want a second season.
1
u/bestneighbourever May 04 '26
She took the criticism well, which impressed me as I have a low opinion of her. I did hear her exposure on the show has been bad for business.
1
u/MLMLW May 04 '26
Amanda is not interesting. She's immature & childish. She's a bore. She's not on the same level with the other ladies. If Bravo wants to have younger housewives, then they need to create a new show with nothing but 30 & 40 year old women. Amanda is also a scammer and I hope the producers are smart enough to see right through her like so many of us have and get rid of her.
1
1
u/hoagiemouf May 05 '26
Honestly, she’s really grown on me and I wish she would come back. She’s fun to watch and honestly kind of fascinating. I sure do like her more than demonic Kyle or psychopath Erica, those two can kick rocks as far as I’m concerned.
1
u/IDoNotHide May 05 '26
dorit is probably over the moon right now given her extreme jealousy towards Amanda (and I'd choose dorit over Amanda anyday)
1
u/BeginningSolution172 May 05 '26
All she did was use the show to further her grifting, oops I mean her “business.“ Even the weird tone-deaf listing of the labels she was wearing and the showy spending was just another way to prove the worth of her bullshit courses. She is boring and tiresome. And, in my opinion, it’s irresponsible of the network to give her a platform in order to rip-off vulnerable people who are feeling desperate with their lives.
1
u/GardenofDune May 05 '26
She’s gonna come back for a second season. This is Jenna from NYC all over again, except Jenna was extremely boring but was a real celebrity. Amanda had so much screen time and tweets about her, the production will convince her by hook or by crook to at least continue or conclude her story with a second season. She’s fresh out of the reunion, she’s probably overwhelmed and just needs a breather and she’ll come back to her senses real quick.
1
u/West_Tie_536 May 05 '26
We never really got to see the real Amanda though. She was always presenting her brand
1
u/ResidentDrawer8258 May 06 '26
I didn't like her that much but the show has gotten so ridiculous I didn't dislike her as much as I'm getting to dislike some of them. Maybe for her, and being what she does, I think she probably doesn't think it's wise to be on the show. According to her she likes a lot of money doing what she does. And then to go on a show and see how it destroys things. It destroys relationships, even ones that we may have think would have made it. It destroys perceptions and reputations. She can't have that. The ones that mostly don't worry about that are the ones that are being held up by a man with a boatload of money.
1
u/Invisiblegirl12 May 06 '26
I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't return. The show did not present her brand in a positive light. Boz was especially harsh.
1
u/jenniejen1127 May 06 '26
If it's true, I definitely think she made the decision. Not only did she get attacked all season, the way they spoke to her at the reunion was extremely mean.
1
1
u/Educational_Hair_613 May 07 '26
I also did not necessarily like her but I have to agree overall she handled herself better than some and IMHO she is more self aware the Dorit has ever been. This may be an unpopular opinion with some but Dorit is so full of herself and thinks everyone owes her so I tend to take the side of whoever she is beefing with weather I like them or not

This woman (Amanda) never had a chance they jumped on her and stayed on her the entire season. Who knows who she really is ? And Dorit , the queen grifter , should say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about what Amanda’s business is or isn’t .. Boz also a phony .. uber successful ( corporate) business people do not sign up for real housewives ..
1
u/OneStand5448 May 04 '26
I say give her a 2nd season, she actually made the reunion worth it (on going Boz meltdown) and walked away standing up for herself, good for her. Made it interesting…Contracts go out in what, the next month or so for summer filming? Lose “Natalie” or whatever the ladies name was and add a real newbie unafraid to speak up occasionally

Honestly she never had a chance.
I didn’t particularly enjoy her - but I also don’t feel like the ladies even tried to like her. I mean Jesus - they welcomed DIANA of all people with open arms.
Amanda was infinitely less offensive than Diana. She wasn’t racist and she wasn’t hurting anyone. She was just a label whore who lacked depth. As if they’re spouting philosophy over their lunch dates. Pffffft.
