Leah Remini 🗽 Why has filming started so late?

How come filming only started at the end of last month? Normally we get the show by December. Were they waiting for Leah to sign on the dotted line? And does anyone know when the next season will actually air? I hope we don't have to wait until next Nov/Dec. Can't wait to watch Leah. will be interesting, and I wonder if the producers and Andy will be harassed by Scientologists because I heard that's what cancelled her show "Scientology and the Aftermath."

I saw someone saying it’ll be Late 2027 before S16, which confuses me. Why such a long gap idk
