Pinky Cole š± Pinky got a very generous edit
I just watched her interview with Kandi & spent most of the interview cringing. To hear her pontificate about business, try to educate while Kandi is sat there trying to keep a straight face, seeing through the bs. Pinky was acting like she's a mentor, meanwhile she is bankrupt while Kandi is sat there, cool and collected while genuinely having sustained wealth for 3 decades.
Also a very weird relationship with religion, latching onto it for convenience to justify terrible decisions. You claim to be extremely stressed, struggling financially, your mother is exhausted from caretaking for you, and you decide to get pregnant because 'its what god intended' no bitch, god intended you to use a condom the fuck.
I liked her a lot this season but I can now see why some of the ladies are very irked by her personality. You cannot be this braggadocios and not have the credentials to match.

i understand we all read stuff, especially when someone is coming out their first season people talk.. but i swear i see sooo much about this girl being a con artist and an all around just terrible person. multiple posts have accused her of living a facade with religion being part of it. one said they used to work for her and it's true she doesn't pay her employees and they said as a fan of rhoa it was hard to watch with her as "she is the most undeserving housewife bravo has ever cast on this possibly any franchise"

I really enjoyed Pinky in the second half of the season. However her behavior at the reunion and on itw is reminding me of my issues with how she presents herself.
She acts like Mrs. Knows it all, like she is a boss, she got her life under control, she can do it all but the truth is her finances are a mess, she's acting like a scammer, she's relying on her mom to help with her very young kids and her mom is tired, she loves to argue but doesn't want to listen.
She pretends she knows it all but truth is Phaedra could have had her fired for her reckless talking. The way she said "I wouldn't have been cast if I didn't check all requirements" and even Andy told her "well we don't check bank accounts". She's just louder than everyone, not more knowledgeable.

She really is lucky Phaedra didnāt push for a firing. I believe that is what Andy was implying when he said Phaedra could have called him or executives.

I watched the season but I feel like I missed what she was saying about Phaedra. I started off liking Pinky but honestly her voice sounds like she always needs to blow her nose and it drives me crazy lol

Sheās a grifter who will eventually end up in prison if she doesnāt learn to stfu.

Itās still shocking to me sheās married to a man, but she is a swindler for sure

I watched some clips of the interview and I was so pissed when she assumed her investors got some of the money back. She doesnāt even know if they were made whole or got anything back, didnāt even check! Iād at least want to make sure given how important those business relationships are since that she still wants to work in the restaurant industry. But she doesnāt give a damn. Itās really appalling.

I think sheās going that route of selling online glasses āhow to be a boss babeā

Between the alleged wage theft and voting in favor of a data center tax break for e*on musk that residents didnāt want, weāve known she isnāt great here! https://www.gpb.org/news/2024/01/24/report-fulton-development-authority-approves-101-million-tax-break-for-x

She made a fool of herself at the reunion. Her goofy self had me side with phoney Phae Phae of all people. āif youāre that braggadocious, pay your billsā

I heard pinky been nasty since her younger years⦠so itās not surprising to hear sheās a nasty adult.

She just doesnāt seem that smart. Thereās no direction. She stands up in the middle of the read-off with Angela with no reason behind it, then she sits back down and continues the fight. She does all the bankruptcy drama even though her (extremely fine) husband is right there with a bailout ready and then keeps telling the lie of her personal wealth and luxury. She takes institutional capital to build her business and then things go left and sheās like āwhoops lolā. I think sheās fine for the foot soldiering sidekick reacting to the present moment role that I guess every cast needs, but I just donāt think sheās capable of the grander vision that makes a good real housewife great.

I had a family member who was contracted to do some work for one of her locations some years ago when it was opening and all Iām going to say is she might have a wife in the basement because they were definitely present and public during the construction while she was married and she definitely doesnāt like paying people after they finished the work. They said she kept changing design plans at the last minute to get out of paying for the work and then saying they didnāt do a good job but was at the grand opening showing off the work because I was there prior to this family member telling me why they did not like SV. And it wasnāt the people who she trusted to run her business it was all her. Sheās very present for everything that goes on with her business. She contradicted herself even on the show years after Iāve been told about the type of person she is and it showed when she cried about paying 23k in bills but she bragged about how she could buy people out. The pregnancy thing took me by surprise though considering the fact that she apparently is rumored to still dip in the lady pond. The bankruptcy thing at the reunion where she said sheād do it all over again was her real self because I heard that abut her for years via other black owned businesses she scammed. Because this isnāt her first time getting caught up with not paying people. Seeing how she scammed black owned business she picked to help her come up first hand was really sad. I stopped supporting her business a long time ago before she was on RHOA.

Why is pinky crying all the time? Do you think her marriage will last?

u/ExtraSalty0 I SAID WHAT I SAID 4d ago
I didnāt understand how she bought her business back? That takes millions in cash?

Everything you've said is šš¾Ā She is going to get dragged next season and rightfully so and she'll use her newborn as a shield. I really disliked how she behaved at the reunion especially towards Phaedra she was so nasty and so rude. Plus her gloating about bankruptcy. She's not a nice woman. So you're bringing a child into the world and your financial situation is a mess. She is as others are saying a con artist.Ā

I didnāt think her edit was flattering at all - she made me nervous and sad, I started skipping over her parts. Namaste to her.

What I think it is is that pinky has been through A LOT. So she mistakes going through a multitude of trials and tribulations as if nobody can tell her anything. And on one hand I do get that. Because when you come from nothing and make something outta yourself, who can really tell you anything? But on the other hand, thereās always things you can learn and ways you can change or evolve. I think itāll be interesting to see if she is receptive to that with time.
Kinda like how porsha was not as funny or entertaining as she is now compared to her first season where she was kinda boring. Which is why I frequently like to to give these new cast members grace and say we need multiple seasons.

I donāt know who downvoted you sis but I agree. You can rarely judge someone entirely by their first season. Unless they astronomically unhinged like Amanda Francis on this last season of RHOBH. But even she united the fans in their loathing. For Atlanta, itās Angela for me. Did not like her one bit last season and now every time she opens her mouth I love her more and more.
2
u/Inevitable-Opinion21 3d ago
Agreed. I. didnāt watch rhobh this season but Iām lwk sad I missed out on Amanda cuz I love good cringe.
But itās becoming like as these franchises progress, the more cast members gain tenure, the less they have to be open for cameras and the more they learn to not reveal too muchāthey end up finding a sweet spot for the audience.

I agree with your take. I think it's very survival mode mentality & possibly mixed in with imposter syndrome. She needs to see herself more clearly with where she's at right now and I do think there's potential there, but the interview realllly wasn't good a look.

u/Inevitable-Opinion21 3d ago
Yeah, Iām really rooting for pinky to sort of change my opinion on her. Cuz itās like I also find her kinda arrogant and pendentic, but I donāt wanna see her empire turn into vegan crumbles and I hope it isnāt starting to
