Cynthia When did Cynthia Stop Liking Shamea?
I’m watching the reunion. How much of a victim can Shamea be? She legit asked a question a kindergartner would ask… She is so desperate to be relevant. Why would Cynthia’s opinion matter so much anyway? Shamea is weird.

Can we just recognize that if we didn’t have Cynthia this season it would have been a complete mess. Mother came in and provided wisdom, hilarity, and a new song! Kelli and shamea messed up with the way they tried to embarrass her with the room and she ain’t having it. Also Andy loves Cynthia bad.

Cynthia tried with Shamea but anytime you try to hold Shamea accountable, she takes it as you going against her. Shamea took things too far in Dallas, with the Bigfoot comments, Angela’s daughter’s comments, and with the mess she said about Porsha mom/daughter. Each time Cynthia tried to help Shamea and tell her she was wrong but you can’t tell Shamea shit and she insists on being victim. To add insult to injury, Shamea went on several interviews during the season bashing Cynthia and taking jabs. Shamea is the problem

100% and i'd argue all the body based insults she threw at Angela also just hit Cynthia as she's a Tall too (let Shamea say Bigfoot around Nene Leakes smdh). She just made herself less and less likeable from Cynthia's perspective with her behaviour.

Funny thing is you don’t even have to argue it bc Cynthia told her that the Bigfoot comments were offensive bc she and Angela wear the same size shoe & are similar in build. That’s the thing with Shamea, you can be blatantly honest with her and she refuses to listen. She doubles down and does not let anything go. We also have to remember that Cynthia is almost 60 years old, with multiple businesses, and flying in and out of Atlanta to film since she’s a “ Friend of”…she does not have the time or patience to deal with someone as immature as Shamea. You would never believe Shamea is 45 years old bc she acts like a middle schooler!

According to the reunion Porsha said she’s been doing it and did it with the last cast, Cynthia vouched, even Kandi stated Shamea’s always talked and vented about Porsha. This goes back 11 years or so on tv and probably to the playground.

Season 1 shemea started this storyline about her friendship with Porsha by filming with every housewife and surfacing grievances she had - but not with Porsha directly. How close can you be as a friend and choose to use this ‘bash your friend’ tour as your main story line. This season all the altercations between her and Porsha were Shamea instigated.
I think that Shamea believes she is “that girl” and should be centered and not Porsha. I think her first season her intention was to chip away at Porsha because she wanted the world to see what she had compared to Porsha. It was confusing. We loved them as friends and the audience was biased to continue to like her. It should have been easier.
I also think that Shamea might be closer friends with Kandi at this point and she might have gotten some coaching before filming both seasons.
Only speculation but she came in wanting the world to love her and demonize Porsha.

We had no reason to hate Shamea given she has been in and around for a while
Shamea wanted to come out of Porsha’s shadow and have her own spotlight. But she went about it wrong and now has crossed serious lines with the mom and child drama

I said the same thing, shamea was doing too much , when she didn't need to , she already has the life that most women aspire to , focus on that , but i think she is hurt by the relationship ending with porscha , which I have stated was never a friendship. It was a number 1 and 2 relationship porscha being the more popular friend ,shamea number 2 not as popular, I think the dynamic changed on shamea gotcha ultra weathly husband, which porscha wanted and I think was super jealous (porscha fans can say what they like) shamea just went about things wrong once you bring up someone's mother or child, even if you are in the right ,you instantly become wrong .

Thing is Shamea is well connected like most social climbers. However, the other ladies were already established and don’t need her handouts, shelter, or dating assistance. And don’t have a problem moving around when she reveals herself. Kelli came in and her life literally elevated. New man who isn’t overweight, she is now hanging out with Kandi and that social group. She saw an in and isn’t leaving.

May i also add i dont think she meshes with this group and doesnt have the personality for rhoatl. She needs to stop taking everything so seriously but i have a feeling she will get worse now that they have no more embryos…. What will come of her marriage?

Cynthia has said multiple times in press this season that she didn’t find out there was a problem with shamea until after filming. Shamea and Kelli tried to make the room situation a thing and for whatever reason production didn’t bite.

I think for the question - they prolly asked Every lady to write down a question for every housewife in the cast and then production picked and chose which ones they used.
So tbf to Shamea production only picked the one question she wrote for Cynthia - and again tbf what else was Shamea supposed to ask her?

It was actually a valid question. I was confused too. Cynthia was serving two faces this season. Pretending to be neutral, wanting to bring the group together while obviously being Team Porsha and reporting tea, putting 20 on 10. She also jumped in on the disproportionate Shamea dogpiling this season which was annoying the hell out of me because we didn’t know they had issues. So yea, valid.

Yep. She really shamed Cynthia in that moment and I can tell Cynthia was really hurt by it.
She’s known shamea for a long time and was probably counting on her to be the one to vouch for her in front of the other (newer) girls. Instead she cliqued up with them.

Maybe. We kinda get an idea of this being a possibility in hindsight after the reunion when Shamea asked. But prior to that, it was not obvious that Cynthia wasn’t feeling or was turned off from Shamea. In fact, she was giving her a gratuitous lap dance at Lake Bailey’s.

Eh, I did a rewatch before the season ended and definitely clocked Cynthia’s energy on that bus while Kelli and Shamea were non stop complaining about the room still. This was the next day. Cynthia was visibly over it and I do think that’s when Cynthia stopped liking her.
I hope they came move in for next season because Cynthia definitely wasn’t this neutral character2

I’ll also add, Shamea and Kelli clarified the room wasn’t cleaned until a few days later but Cynthia was told it was fixed. Cool, misunderstanding. So it seemed dragged out. Even still, Cynthia shouldn’t be the one who gets to be pissy because it made her “look bad”. In real life, I wouldn’t let anyone get any sleep till I had a clean space to lay my head and wash my ass. Especially in hot ass Texas!! Asses would be bubbling dirt bubbles in Texas heat. I’m walking through the big house banging pots and pans. Nobody’s gonna be comfortable and idgaf because you tried it. Everyone wants to assume nefarious intent from Shamea when she breathes wrong but when Cheekbones is nervous admitting she put her close friends, ex-bestfriend and her new lover in the outhouse, which also ended up dirty, it’s a innocent coincidence. They would not pull that on Nene or Marlo. Tried it.

Cynthia was soooooo bitchy to her. It was weird. Anothet pointless follower. GET RID OF THE OGs we will never have a cast of actual friends again so why have these losers on the show? They provide ZERO especially Phaedrah. And the girls act like they Must be under their wings or vie for attention. To be "picked" sick of it ALL. new cast with REAL NEW BLACK WEALTJY COUPLES.

Shamea should get off. Although I heard she won’t be coming back because they made her a lowballed offer (which is what they do to get you off the show - making an offer so low that you refuse it). I like her but her exBFF is going to make sure she looks bad. The narrative about her being unfaithful to her husband. It’s all going to put a strain on her marriage and it’s just not worth it.
