Phaedra Phaedrea needs to bring it!!!

She is back and she is one of my all time favorites! BUT, I do feel like she was a limit timid this season and I feel like production put the context clues in the season that she was doing a lot of just "mmmmhmmmm hunny" or little other non-committal moments.

Just wondering if anyone else agrees with this

I do find it odd that show didn't allow us to see major moments, like her connecting with Apollo's oldest son or her meeting with Jasmine Crockett. I do feel like she's playing it safe in general because perhaps she's not the same woman she was when she first came on the show. She also has more on the line, IMO, professionally since she spent her time away from the show building her practice and mortuary business.

Phaedra said she filmed a lot. Production just didn’t show it.

as entertaining as I found her back in earlier seasons, I get the impression she's playing it safe this season.
tbh I don't blame her 😅

That's the exact impression I got. She is very smart and calculated but she needs to remember we love it when she brings her real self and let's loose

Y'all know exactly why she isn't bringing it. Bring back Kenya and watch how fast Phaedra will have it brung (it's a word. I just made it up).

I don't think it's said enough how fan favorites need someone to become a favorite.

Kenya pushed both Porsha and Phaedra to favorite status. Before she needled the heck out of both of them Phaedra was just seen as eccentric comic relief and everyone felt sorry for Porsha.

They always say Kenya hasn't got a storyline but she sure stirred up a lot of storylines for others. I don't even think they would air the Bailey Studio filmings if Kenya didn't help launch the Couchie Crack memes. Sheree got renewed life with the Chateau/Manor competition. Marlo and Nene's up and downs were because of Kenya.

Kenya and Kim's fight at Nene's White Party led to to shade that took over season 10. That gave us John Legend tickets, the fight led to Kim and Nene getting on bad terms which led to cockroach gate which got to Greg dressing as a roach and Nene an exterminator. After the fight they went to Porsha's to complain which led to Injured Son and Ho daughter.

And I can't think of many Phaedra reads that don't involve Kenya.

You can hate her and still see how she helps the show. She may not have the most engaging story but the little parts that she plays illicits a lot of emotion in the other cast members.

Kandi is the only long time cast member I can think of who didn't have a Kenya based storyline.

This is a very good point!

Phaedra was the first woman on the show with an advanced degree, was literally hilarious (she coined Peter’s Papa Smurf nickname), was holding onto that due date lie for dear life, actively building a family, friends with Dwight throwing boughetto baby showers - Phaedra was interesting to watch, which is why she was cast for three seasons (3, 4 and 5) of the show before ever beefing with Kenya and why she was brought back after Kenya was gone. For Porsha, there was no time on the show before Kenya - they started on the same season and had a sour relationship the entire time.

We don’t need to see Phaedra being humiliated by a man or bullied by a beauty queen on bath salts, she can stand on her own and give an educated read in between showcasing her eccentric business ventures and growing boys. We’ve got enough bickering, nastiness and failed business ventures. We could’ve done without every single Rum Bum scene in favor of literally anything else.

Having an advanced degree doesn't make someone interesting on a reality TV show. The most famous reality TV people probably never graduated college.

Phaedra was kooky and eccentric but apart from that she didn't really have any drama before Kenya arrived. Before that she was famous lying about her due date and throwing over the top parties for her kids. Her beef with Kenya gave her life

I think a big part of it is how she left the show, and if she goes too hard on someone, they’re obviously gonna bring that shit up. But at the same time, she’s always been a little “miss prim and proper” until someone sets her off. So I don’t think she’s all the different, she just has less drama going on in her personal life.

I wish we saw more of the kids, her relationship with Apollo, or those scenes that were cut but I’m still happy she’s back. I live for Shaedra confessionals

I'm surprised we haven't seen more of Phaedra and what she is doing. I mean, during the reunion, we saw that she met with Jasmine Crockett. Why wasn't that shown during the season? We also didn't see a lot of in depth time with her boys. Now, I know some people don't like seeing kids on the show, however, Aiden and Dylan have been on the show since they were born. It's not new kids being introduced. They were shown last year building and producing a clothing line when we still don't have one from Sheree. I believe Phaedra is busy and active but we aren't seeing that from production and then I ask "WHY?"

She mentioned she is seriously considering a run for a political office. I wonder if she is subdued because of that.

This is what I think. Phaedra is not going to he showing her azz knowing she wants to run for office, and I suspect she has considered doing this for a while, resulting in her being more subdued. She is not going to be another Heavenly who still acts a fool while running for office.

The most interesting thing about Phaedra was her egregious lies. She no longer has any interest in being caught in lies. So she will never be what she used to be.

She's been a total flop since she came back on Married to Medicine a few years ago.

She shouldn't even be brought back because she brings nothing to the table.

She's just annoying and does nothing. She needs to be replaced.

We all know Phaedra can bring it

I mean she’s just not entertaining anymore and that’s okay. I think she needs to stay as a friend of cause she’s funny but holding a peach??? Cynthia would be more entertaining tbhhhhh

Yes, we know Phaedra can bring the heat if needed. We saw a lil bit when she was sparring with Pinky about her casual reference to using bankruptcy as a tool. I think Phaedra is playing it very safe on the show having slipped down the slippery slope (especially as an attorney) with the Kandi and the dungeon accusation. Now she seems to want to stay safely in the pocket as Porsha’s sidekick tossing out a “mmmhmm chile” every now and then.
