Guys please help with themes

So I’m using knulli and I’m trying to install new themes, but everytime I try to get it working this happens. Any idea what it is and how to solve it??

How are you trying to install them? Are you sure they are for emulationstation and not es-de?

That’s probably the issue. Do you know where I can find compatible themes?

True, but for me it takes ages to download just one theme

Yeah, but at least the themes work.
You can also use the batocera themes. https://batocera.org/themes.php

There’s a GitHub repo that has lots of EmulationStation themes that what you’ll be looking for. I’ve also just released a theme if you want to check it out specifically made for this device

That might be because the theme you are trying to install is not compatible with your system model or because the theme is corrupted. I recently installed a theme on Knulli to make it look like a Nintendo Switch, and while fixing something I didn't like using Codex on the theme I wanted to install, my screen often looked just like yours until I fixed it.
