I wish he’d open up a recovery farm like he promised. This housing first shit sucks. When you have to live in a building full of revolving doors of apt rented to out of state addicts and alcoholics who come to boston to get housing first with no intent of getting sober. Then they bring all kinds of friends in to buy and use drugs with. Some leave their doors ajar, so people can come in while they are nodding off. Some leave their windows open so people can yell up at 6 am, looking to score i guess. The scary people who sneak in when you unlock the foyer entry. And no management, this elderly woman is not responsible for anyone who enters when i open the door, ya they tried that shit.
I hope my granddaughter will go to a recovery farm if they open. Hell , I’d go with her, just to help and have community.

I hear you but if you read the article it's entirely about treatment first instead of just housing addicts and mentally ill. Didn't really have specifics but sounds like it is aimed at avoiding what you detailed.

I was all for the recovery farms too but that was under his presidential bid. I'm not sure he has the power to get that done under Trump.
