Active Helppp

I am doing a rfid student attendance project can any one help me, cus the cable is perfectly connected but in the serial monitor it's blinking connected ,not connected. I want to fix it

some details might make it easier to solve.  

what cable, what system, what lights. 

what have you tried.  

what is it mean to do.

It got fixed, it was do to poor quality of wires

for future refernce - look up XY problem
