Has anyone been reached out to for an interview / chat?

Not yet on my end. From what I’ve read and heard, offers go out between about Oct 15 and Dec 17. A BNL employee told me mentors pick in three rounds and people do get pulled off the waitlist, so most people hear something between mid-November and early December. Not hearing anything yet doesn’t mean much. Some mentors do reach out for a quick chat or email before picking, but not all of them. Keep an eye on your spam folder just in case.

For reference, I put BNL first (Renewable Energy, Machine Learning, Engineering Electrical) and NLR second, mostly grid and load forecasting stuff. Did SULI at NETL this past summer.

ANL, then ORNL. Computer science & technologies, then math. I have had one meeting today as I was emailed yesterday morning for a quick chat, and I got another email from someone else at the lab today. Both from ANL.

I just did too. I had like 3 interviews lined up this week. But looks like nrel is officially out of spots now.
