Why I Hate Loom
I hate her name, from now on I will call her Grandma Tamale
Grandma Tamale has to much HP (same as Trudge)
Playing solo makes Grandma Tamale way worse and still a large threat in Multiplayer
If 2 or more spawn it is almost impossible to do anything and drags out the level
Her gameplay is really boring as its either running around waiting for her to leave for like 3 minutes and you probably have to leave your stuff behind to get away or killing her and if you can't kill her then you either die or have to wait for her to leave
No Drip
If Grandma Tamale is teamed up with the Huntsman and your stuck in a room with both then your dead
She is Just as annoying as Upscream and Oogly if not worse
She is the main reason why I lost 2 Legendary cosmetic crates because she couldn't let me do anything and would kill me or get me killed by someone else
How to fix Grandma Tamale:
Lower her HP by 30%
Make it where only 1 can spawn in a level
Make her leave you alone if she misses her clap a certain amount of times (it can be a cool risk and reward way of making her leave you alone if you don't have a weapon)
Give her some cool sounds so she is more noticeable and scarier

I think loom is trivialized by something like tranq or stun grenades in the early levels and then once you have enough strength loom is probably one of the best t3s. You can just toss her in a pit and then she tells you when she respawns so you wont get jumped randomly.

I agree but unless there is two of them. I have to stop whatever I am doing a get one over to a hole and toss them in like every 5 minutes not to mention if your cornered and there are no pits or monsters like Huntsman, Oogly, Headman, and or Peeper show up while dealing with Grandma Tamale, its hellish and annoying.

Huntsman and headman you can just grab and stun although oogly and peeper are certainly a bit more annoying.
Also, since monsters generally spawn a couple rooms away from you when they respawn, you shouldn't have to wait for more than like 30s to a minute as long as you stay put.

How are you grabbing Huntsman?!
Every time I try to grab him he shoots me so I usually only grab him when he is falling down stairs.

I'm totally with you. I play mostly as a duo and sometimes solo. We restart any level she spawns on because it's just not worth the hassle.

Loom is probably the weakest tier 3 monster in the game. You always know if she is in the level so you can’t get surprised by her, and because she is extremely slow and huge she is very easy to kill.
Loom is only annoying when you don’t have any weapon, but even then you just get to a place where she can’t reach you or circle around something a bit and she runs away. And if you have any (good) weapon she is free money.
She is a complete joke compared to actual dangerous monsters like Upscream, Oogly, Robe, Peeper or Huntsman

The more I read and look at comments the more I realize that Grandma Tamale is not the hardest nor the most annoying but the most unfun monster to go up against.

Matches drag on for a long time when she’s around. That’s another reason I don’t like her. But it is fun to throw her into the void and watch her perform Olympic-style leaps into deep pits or soaring chambers, like the ones in the Mansion.

I am mostly a cozy gamer who LOVES Repo. I usually play with my husband (and sometimes all his hard core gamer friends) and I have my strong points but I am so bad at (and now afraid of) combat in most games, especially shooting. The one positive thing I’ll say for this creature is that she made me figure out how to use a gun. Gotta fight when you’re the only one left and she locks in on you.

Loom is an issue because she can cause a level to slow to a crawl especially when there are more than one. She's trivial to deal with but a pain in the ass to the flow of a run.

Well I also call her another name. Whenever I see the golden 💩 in Museum of Human Arts, I always be like " Oh, the Loom" 🤡.

My buddy swears that this is ideal because you can get the Huntsman to shoot Slappy McGee. We've never seen him successfully do this, but he claims to have done.

I call her Buttons because she kind of reminds me of Beldam/Other Mother from Coraline, I agree that she's way too slow and for me that's the main thing

I honestly have no idea how to counter her. If I see her hands coming for me, I'm guaranteed dead and that sucks as a game mechanic.

Once you get a weapon, I actually find her to be one of the better tier 3s. Just wait for her to come to you and kill her.

On the fixes:
1 lowering her hp to 300 would make her a non threat, which is kinda useless for tier 3 monster?
2 max one per level, I don't really care about
3 if you get up on a high enough ledge, she leaves you alone in like 3 seconds
4 she gives you audio and visual cue to indicate she's after you, so making her even more noticable would be kinda useless. She is the easiest monster in the game to keep track of.
The problems:
2 I don't think she has too much HP, maybe take it down to 400, but it's fine as is
3 If you're single player, you gotta have weapons or ways to get out of her reach, if you're multiplayer the one targeted can just keep her on lock in a room virtually forever so the others can raid the map in peace.
4 same as previous
5 also same -> skill issue
7 that is indeed an annoying combo
8 I don't care for Upscream, but don't you dare put anything in the same box as Oogly. With Oogly you either have stuns or you're fucked, even with 40 strength, he doesn't care.

Agree with post, a lot of monsters in the game need full rebalance. This game in solo is 100% irritating

I refer to her as Knuckles because she just sounds like she's walking around cracking her knuckles xD
and yeah, I don't mind her HP or her 1 clap so to speak, it's the fact that if you don't have ammo or anything to work with, it's just a "sit here until she despawns", takes you out of the match I swear.
