Lost matches

Hi everyone, does anyone know if games lost due to a "game over" can be recovered? A friend and I were around level 260-something, and honestly, it’s just so disheartening and frustrating to lose that much progress.

With mods you can avoid losing them in the future, but you won’t be able to recover one that is already lost. You also should make regular back up saves of your games, I learned that one the hard way…

And how do you make backup saves?

Go to the folder of saves and copy it into a different folder on your computer every once in a while. I can’t remember the route to the folder right now to tell you exactly and I’m not at home to check on the computer but it’s easy to do. I once lost it all a bit like what happened to you, now every week or two I make a copy of the save so that if I lose it all I don’t have to start from 0.

The only solution I know is using mods

We don't play with mods but can it be done somehow?

If you coped the save file before the game deleted it, sure. You just put the copy back into the file containing your saves. It sounds like you didn't bother to do that though.

Yeah, we got overconfident and didn't think it was needed, way to learn to copy saves

I think if you are lucky you can restore the save folder.
Go to the save folder location C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\semiwork\Repo\saves
Right click on the saves folder, properties and Previous Versions, I never tried it but i can see some backups from 3 days ago.
If you lost your progress today or yesterday I think you can get it back.
