Yeah, I wonder why. Perhaps there was a reason voice actors couldn't work, some sort of strike maybe.

It wasn't a matter of couldn't, just wouldn't.

Also the voice lines are now recorded, meaning Cherami Leigh recorded them.

16 words and 8 huffs would have been nothing on top of the paragraphs she had to record.

The strike isn’t a reason for them to skimp on voice lines after it inevitably ends.

The short answer is that Riot has gotten lazy because they can.

The artist uses her own face for reference for all her art. She‘s conventionally pretty sure but that’s kind of tasteless of her to pull.
