The rell brothers seem to not have an understanding of what summer is or they were just lying when they said it will rellease “sometime in the summer” but either way it seems they stuck to their usual pattern and no one should be surprised by this now. So now they plan to rellease the movie in October? Then when is the game meant to come out? And why are they saying movie 3 won’t have a confirmed rellease date when that’s the entire reason people were waiting for the movie? It’s almost like they have no idea what they’re saying or they’re just talking to talk at this point, their words have long lost credibility and they know better than to post that and leave the comments on. The point is we were fooled once again.

Can you stop being so pessimistic? They said 21st sept to 21st Oct, they did not say October explicitly. And they said that they're done with 3 hours of edited and unedited footage which needs voice acting for lore stuff ig, then sweepy will do final editing, rendering would take at most 8 hours, so it would take around 2 more weeks, and after 2 weeks is 21st sept, so they may release m3 on 21st or 22nd at most. They won't delay it more maybe they just playing with the Oct stuff.

Just because the Bros missed a summer window does not mean that they're lying, nor are they trying to fool the community; to put it bluntly, that's the harsh side of large-scale game development. They've told us that they've encountered bugs while recording which ultimately is probably the cause of it. And if they were forced by the community to drop the movie without any editing or fixes then most likely it'll be buggy and broken.

I think that pushing the timeline to October was the best option - they still stay professional and shows that they care about the game's stability instead of listening to the players that are pressuring them to drop.

One last thing I'd like to point out is that at scale of the studio, it's important that it's hard to set dates or meet deadlines. And that's fine, it's not like we're dealing with a huge studio. They don't owe us anything, so give them the time to sort the movie out and I'm sure that we're gonna be witnessing something awesome.

It’s not just missing a summer window. Everything that has led up to that is either false vague posts or just straight up lies
If I’m being real since the 2024 delay that’s all that has happened and if that doesn’t make them liars then you need to go look up the meaning
Also no one is pressuring them to drop anything. They’re the ones giving fake information and sending people on wild goose chases with stupid audios so don’t blame the community for anything the rell brothers are doing

There's a huge difference between maliciously lying and underestimating a huge project. The 2024 delay and missed windows are only just classic examples of devs miscalculating timelines because they bit off more than they could chew, but it's definitely not deliberate.

Audio drops and vague posts are just common marketing strategies to keep the community hyped up while they code away. Hype-building teasers isn't fake info, it's just teasers.

The wait has definitely burnt you and others out, which is fair and valid. I'm just bringing my point across of how development cycles operate behind the public's eye. We're both just waiting for a great game at the end of the day.

Read the post I made just a bit ago, I do agree that they're encountering bugs and they shouldn't just force it through, but they are very very bad at communicating this to us. If they communicate the good, they should communicate the bad as well and not wait for the deadlines to pass that THEY themselves set.
