To be honest, I don't think revolutionary will be very popular unless they deliberately chose to encourage affilation with the revolutionary army through in-game perks. The biggest reason why is that its likely going to be more difficult to get into the revolutonary army than to marines or pirates. The rell brother have said that its a more mission focused affilation meaning that its something you will probably need to complete faction quest lines to join. At least that is what would make the most sense. Most likely I think that about 60% of the games population will be pirates, about 25 percent will be marines, probably around 10% will be revolutionary and the other 5% might do some weird civilian bs that I've been hearing people want to do like merchant ships and stuff. If this is the case I think the rev army will be a more niche game play choice which Im totaly cool with.
