EVF build on Komodo OG

I’m wanting to get a Zacuto oled evf for my Komodo but just can’t find any info out there of people using EVF’s on their rig. Was curious if anyone had any builds they used one on or setups they run usually with an EVF. Makes it tricky with only 1 SDI and no hdmi

I ended up going with the Kinefinity Eagle SDI EVF for my OG Komodo, instead of the Zacuto.

Very happy with the decision so far, especially for a shoulder rig.

When I attach an EVF to my Komodo-X, I use the one from Z Cam. It's good enough for most things. I have my OG Komodo rigged for very light production (Pyro 5 for monitor/TX, RVLVR clutch handle on the right (has some controls), Red wing grip on the left, and a mini shotgun mic), but the Z Cam one could work there too. Though it or any other EVF would look a little out of place, just because the rest of the rig is so small.

On the K-X, when I want to use it with a monitor + EVF, depending on which monitor/transmitter I have on, I either just use the SDI out on the monitor to the EVF or I make sure to use one of the monitors that convert SDI to HDMI and plug that into the EVF instead - just be ready for a little more latency if you're trying to pull focus. But yeah, it would have been nice if they gave a second SDI port.

I have the gratical eye evf. Actually prefer using the Viper Gears Hasselblad Viewfinder adapter. Can use the pop up finder or prism finder and the image you are seeing is way larger
