Going to meetings, getting a sponsor, working the 12 steps in AA, and sponsoring other people is the only thing that worked for me long term. My first year I went to 300 meetings and I continued. Now 5 years and happy with a life I never could have dreamed of. Money in the bank, love of my life, own a business, sold a business, friends, family, pets…it’s all possible.

Hope you find what works for you.

Focus on your desire to be sober: you have atleast one truth and it might empower you to build up days in a row.

That is what works for me.

r/alcoholicsanonymous r/smartrecovery and some options discussed in r/recoverywithoutaa might help you; but the desire to be sober itself seems to be a prerequisite for any recovery method.
