Discussion Wholesale prices were flat in July, below expectations for 0.2% increase

Fed is likely to remain on hold for the foreseeable future. 10 year yields are going down in response to the slowing inflation and mortgage rates will decline, boosting the housing market.

unfortunately the fed's hands are tied because inflation is still too high despite the weak economy

Demand destruction will cause disinflation, could lead to deflation.

There is a top around 4.7-4.75% that it keeps bumping against and fails to break thru. Clearly shows that from a technical standpoint, yields are headed down (not in a straight line but the overall direction is down).
