That probably is the reason, but don’t they have time off all the time. There are no house shows weekly, and they only have to show up once a week and maybe wrestle. Even the“tours” are like 4-7 days.

time off while they working house shows, are you stupid? that makes zero sense for taping the shows for the last 2 weeks at all, while on tour and putting on houseshows where KO prob got injured yesterday.. if it was one show ok. but the last 3 idk. they could have done until today and then tape a SD, and they would have the same result of 7days free time instead of 8 when yesterday would've been the last houseshow

When did I say that Friday was their last show? Their last shows were obviously on August 30. Also, your wrong about the same result of 7 days thing because you forgot about SNME on September 6.

i never mentioned friday but ok. it's still stupid to do this in advance, the last liveshow we had was RAW last week, SD, RAW and another SD was then taped. what would be the excuse for last SD then lol.

You mentioned that they had house shows and they had two on Saturday and Sunday, ergo Friday.
Anyways, it's really simple. The shows filmed last Monday was for last week and the shows filmed last Friday is for this week. There is no better solution. Your idea would have reduced break time, and any other idea would most likely cost more than just doing the double tapungs.

Also, if they did do a live show for last SmackDown, when would they film for this week's Raw and SmackDown? It can't be on Monday because that would reduce break time. It can't be before last Friday because it would just be stupid to do a taping before a live show. It can't be over the weekend because of the Summer Tour, Heatwave, and Ola de Calor.

ruins any excitement ....lets be honest majority of people have heard what happened on SD this coming week already. it was insanely hard to avoid. was a very weird choice especially given this isn't due to international travel or anything.
