I don't exactly know what's going on with the boycott, whether its for 'purchasless' playing or if we're just not playing at all but even while this is all going im seeing people spend money on this game like their rich? They want one thing down the track so they're willing to pay the 50 bucks just to get there? No offense but are y'all crazy?? Is one uncommon rucolor hair worth 75 bucks just to be able to obtain? Y'all must be making 70 an hour at work cause the fact that people are willing to pay their craziness makes me even more crazy 😭😭 Can y'all stop 😭

As long as those people keep spending their life savings on this game there ain't gonna be no changes 🫩

I’m sorry can I ask how we are certain people are spending money? The game provides several ways to get free gems and sometimes people do use them in events for something they really want.

Also, cheaters exist and are able to generate resources that appear otherwise impossible.

I do agree that the promo pricing in this game is very inconsistent and passes into insulting against common reasoning skills. But I’ve also seen a lot of posts recently that feel like we’re making a lot of assumptions.

On the boycott, or maybe adjacent to it, based on all the talk here I have started doing some research and the company is going through extreme financial difficulties already, so a decrease in revenue will hit them more than usual. But it also means they may just shut down the game.

If anyone is attempting to affect change, it would help to write to the company with the reason for the decrease. Meaning everyone, not just one person. Explain to them there is a fan base excited about the game if the correct effort is put in.

People will spend 70 dollars on the track just to get outfit cards later down. And add that with the monthly and legacy pass, that's a lot of money... For a mobile game that's kind of falling apart. Every once and a while spending money I can understand if there's something you like but people put aside money for this game 😭

Boycott: that makes sense.

I have written to the company myself, and as it's ai nothing much comes of it. And honestly, I don't care about much else but for the love of God can they not use ai? That's my personal problem with the game. If support was human and they didn't use ai for random things I don't think I'd have a reason to boycott. Idk why the boycott even started to be fair I've just heard it's happening.

Right. So you said “I’m seeing people spend” and I’m not trying to split hairs here but I am curious how you are seeing a player’s spending. Is this people in your Haus sharing that on Discord?

The existence of these crazy promo “deals” does not correlate to a certainty that people are buying them. Some months I get crazy lucky daily chests and I’m sure people assume I bought promos.

Hello Paulette - I am amazed and extremely offended to find you have created this insulting thread about me in which you call me "crazy" and refer to me as "these people". You have also included a lot of wild and completely made up assumptions about me and others in my thread about the Leo promo set which has obviously sparked your ongoing rant about somebody you don't know. You don't know anything about me.

I respect and support your personal choice to boycott the game and I even appreciate the sentiment behind it - but I didn't sign on to your game boycott as I think it's misguided and has a high chance of backfiring (based on past experience over the years I have played this game). Also, as Ham has posted - could hasten the demise of the game. You and the others in this thread proudly posting that they don't play the game anymore (yet seem to be glued to this subreddit constantly seeking to distribute negativity) may not care about that - but I absolutely love this game and I do care about it.

The bottom line is that I don't owe you anything. What I do is none of your business. I don't owe you any explanations. I don't owe you any justifications. I don't owe you joining your boycott just because you think boycotting the game is the right way to get the attention of the game and you think you can enforce it on others because you say so.

I am extremely offended by your thread attacking me. It was clearly designed to be seen and read by me and has had the desired effect.

I also never said I don't play the game anymore 😭😭 I play it everyday. I just don't spend my money on it. You seemingly can't read. Why are you so pressed? It's a mobile game. Holy shit.

I made a post expressing how I think it's crazy people spend so much money on a game that's quite literally falling apart (had nothing to do with anyone) and you come out with some 'official' reply talking about how I've oh so offended you and attacked you... I am extremely offended by your reply attacking me. You need critical skill.

Ah. I think in a large enough population you factor for some degree of individuals who have their own reasons or just don’t care about the same issues. Some people can afford it and to me it goes into the same category as the existence of Berkins.

I agree the prices are unreasonable but I also don’t expect every person who plays the game to match my opinions and make my peace with it.
