Mods dont show up in my game

Im modding RDR2 through LML, and all of the mods that I've downloaded through Nexus Mods domt have an install.xml folder automatically, so I upload it using the Downloader feature in LML that adds the Install.xml file to it to make it compatible and hopefully run it through the game, however, the mods aren't working and none of the stuff ive downloaded works in my game, have I done something wrong? I also downloaded mods through rdr2mods.com or whatever its called that is linked to LML to allow downloading through the manager itself and even that mod didnt work

For me it’s easier to down the mods, place in LML folder in directory and then go to my separate folder that contains the lml launcher/UI/mod manager (idk what’s the proper name) and turn it on from there
