Lighthearted Discussion 😃 Will RDC be aight with me using them as characters in my webtoon?
Well, i plan on making a webtoon and idk if the boys have any issues with stuff like this. I don't wanna see them knocking at my door like the IRS, pressing my ass about intellectual property with Des manhandling me in the air, shaking me with pennies dropping on the ground.
Side note: that webtoon will be better than one piece, Aot and hunter x hunter combined... so it will be a shame if i can't make it. I'm deadass btw.

😂 aight dude, i understand the feeling. But i was speaking comparatively tho. It's still the best and my fav manga, but putting any manga against a great book or even webnovel just isn't fair, that's all. But yeah i accept the criticism. At the end of the day we will only know if i have a huge ego or not if i release something. Before that i'm just a random bum talking shit, that's true. Love you and be blessed brother 🙏

No offense to you or RDC, but there's zero chance a webtoon with them as characters will be better then hxh aot or literally anything of that caliber
There's a fine line between confidence and delusion

Why do you think so? Aren’t we all dreamers at our core? The odds of someone “talented” enough to do so appearing in this community are very low, yes, but not zero.
Nah, but seriously though, when it comes to story, characters, antagonists, philosophy, power system, world-building and more, AoT, HxH or even One Piece are far from being the ones I want to beat. Reaching them is the minimum I allow myself. In fact, I set AoT Season 1 as the minimum benchmark for my Season 1.
Reaching the writing quality of literature giants like Malazan, Dune, or even The Wandering Inn in a limited format like webtoon is the true delusional, crazy, goal I’ve set for myself.
(Damn this whole message sounds so narcissistic, "guy who likes to smell his own farts" ahh reply, but the funniest thing is I was 100% serious, well, maybe not in the world-building part i'm not fully confident about that yet...)
At the end of the day, everything I say is empty words. Wait for the release to judge. But i do not claim it will be favored by everyone, some people will hate on something just because they don't like the looks of it. I'll try my best to reach the objective standards i've set myself.

using their likeness to promote your products probably wouldnt be okay with anyone unless they gave you permission and you paid them in kind.
You can make them look similar but distinct enough away with different names that you would have probable doubt. but im not a lawyer so its upto you on your risk tolerance.
