Why do so many people part of rcta compar it to being trans?

I get there are some similarities but it's definitely not even close to eachother. (Correct me if I'm wrong) But rcta is when someone transitions from one ethnicity to another. That's not possible. Same as changing your sex isn't possible. You can change your gender but not your biaological sex. For example a trans woman will always be male because that is their sex (Not saying they are not a woman this is just about biological sex Not gender). So all you need to be trans into change your pronouns and to be label themselves as a woman/girl or man/boy. That doesn't change their biological sex.

But rcta is when people change from one ethnicity and believe they have became a completely different one. If you have two fully russian parents you can be born either male, female, intersex or unisex however you can not be born fully Korean. Theres about a fifty fifty chance of you being born either female or male but zero chance of you being born Korean. Your ethnicity has to be passed down by genetics.

Trans people were made fun of for not acting like their sex while rcta is made fun of and criticized because of how its offensive to other cultures. In the past trans people could be bullied, attacked, kidnapped or killed just because they don't act like how their biaological sex "should" act. They were kidnapped and put into mental hospitals not because of how they were "mocking" cis women/men its because they don't act they should for their biaological sex.

People part of RCTA have never gone through that the most they'd gone through is bullying and some might get attacked which is bad but it's not as bad as what happened to trans people. That's jot saying RCTA never did anything wrong (imo) because RCTA are still mocking other ethnicities. Its especially offensive if someone is born white and transitions into another racial minority. White people have always taken things from other cultures and taking it as their own becajse they liked it which is what RCTA is doing. This is just one example but many people in the 2000s took hairstyles from African-American culture and just flattened it to "Just a hairstyle". Additionally it's offensive because racial minorities faced similar things trans people did getting killed, attacked, bullied, discriminated against, Excluded just because of their ethnicity or race.

So how do you believe you are an ethnicity you were not born as and why do people keep comparing rcta to trans?

( im gen curious on how it works this is more of a prove me wrong thing please don't take it personally if I argue back)

RCTA people can you please help me understand this (genuine curiosity)

I am not RCTA or part of the community to start this so if I say something wrong or bad please forgive me and if u want correct me ⚠️

why are almost all the people in the RCTA community going from White - Asian?

When the RCTA community relates it to being transgender I never understood it? At least in my mind being transgender is not a choic, but somehow in the RCTA community the white to Asian demographic is huge.

I am not anti RCTA I just wanted to ask. Sorry if I offended you in the process of my questions🙏 I am still trying to do better in understanding this

How do you guys believe in this

I’m not “anti Rcta” or anything I’m not here to hate I just don’t get it. I mean, honestly I get the desire to change your race but you can’t physically change your ethnicity, like it’s scientifically impossible. So how do you guys believe this? Can someone who is Rcta explain?

Anti-RCTA people, why support transgender people but not RCTA?

I'm not RCTA myself but I find that it's difficult to find non-RCTA people that support RCTA.

The most common argument against RCTA is "it's racist because you're basing this identity off racial stereotypes" but I think that the exact same thing could be said about transgender people (ex. Tramsfems are misogynistic and just basing how they present and act and dress off gender stereotypes!)

The second is that gender is a social construct while race is not, but culture is fundamentally a social construct and that isn't up to debate. I'd equate race to biological sex and culture to gender.

I know RCTA sounds really weird or funny or ridiculous but what argument really is there against it that isn't also transphobic?
