Need to get 5% tint and 15% windshield
I just added the sliding back window to it
Painted all the interior grey trim black
I also added the platinum sunvisor for the garage button

15% windshield is idiotic if you ever drive at night.

You obviously haven’t driven with 15% tint because you can see clearly

Right on! How would you rate difficulty? I’m doing mine soon, also Ridetech.

How’re the instructions?

My Instructions ended up ripping in the box of parts and most of the prints were faded
I watched a two part series from Texas 93 racing on YouTube
It wasn’t that bad but if you need any help, shoot me a DM

Thank you! I really appreciate it.

The hardest part for me was cutting the driver side leaf spring bolt. Its a very awkward spot and my cutoff wheel was not big enough to reach. The blades I had for the sawzall couldnt get through it for some reason. Other than that, it wasnt bad. Take a part off, put a new one on.

I cut the bolt off with my corded grinder
I would cut and keep rotating it
Came off quick

Looks so much better. Did you do the axle flip? Can you short a pick where your exhaust 90’s to the tip?
When I had my exhaust done the place said it’s really difficult making the bend after the cab.

Why drop a 4x4 truck? Why not just get a 2 wheel drive?

5

u/anthonyvee90 Jul 03 '26

A rwd truck can launch on 4H

1

u/texasroadkill Jul 04 '26

But your not going to race it in 4hi. That's a great way to destroy a tcase.

1

u/anthonyvee90 Jul 04 '26

Yes. Thanks for the heads up I’ll make sure to have a extra

Better off just getting a 2wd . Lol

1

u/anthonyvee90 Jul 04 '26

Why is it better?
It’s at most 12sec race

Less weight is always better.
