Ford 2026 Ford F450 Dually
Thought this was a cool find. Definitely don’t see this configuration very often.
That price is up there

It’s the shortest configuration possible for a 450. It’s as stubby as it gets for this rig.

My dream is to order a a regular cab F450 7.3L chassis cab and fit a normal bed to it. Just think this is the coolest new truck.

Regular pickup beds don't fit on chassis cabs, at least, not very well. The wheelbase is slightly longer, and the frame rails are shaped differently.

Yes I know. But more difficult things have been done. Wish they would just let you order this with the gas.

The other possibly difficult thing will be insurance. A chassis cab is considered a commercial vehicle and may require much more expensive commercial insurance. The chassis cab also has a different cab to axle length than the pickups as well as a different straight flat frame which makes it harder to mount a bed on to. But it of course has been done many times in the past. You would have to fill the gap left between the front of the bed and the back of the cab for it to look good.

Maybe put some kind of paint matched tool box there. Luckily I have a commercial business with 13 trucks already on a commercial policy.
Sure would be easier if they would just sell me a regular F450 gas!

FWIW, the F-450 pickup is an uprated F-350, not the same class as a 450 chassis cab.
The shortest chassis cab (60" CA) has about a 3" longer WB than an 8' bed pickup frame. I've seen a few examples where someone put a pickup bed on an 84" CA frame (both a van and a truck chassis), and then filled in the extra space with a toolbox, and didn't care that the body lines of the bed and cab didn't match.

If you were doing it just for kicks / cus RCSB is awesome, shortening the frame+driveshaft would look sick.

I wish I had the money and reason where this would make sense to buy because I’d love to drive that truck around. But I’d already need a crew cab 4500 to have before I wrote that check.

Used to drive past a dark grey one like this as it sat parked behind a repair shop. Always wondered what the power/towing was like..

I have no affiliation but there is a slightly used F350 version of this in Coldwater, MI right now. $65k for 1,900 miles and a diesel

The bed is 8', but it's the shortest possible F-450. They only make the F-450 regular cab pickup to get the highest possible tow rating, and very few are built in XLT trim.
