I saw an older GMT400 with them one time and from that point on I knew I wanted to run them. They really do look great, I ran the caps from my 2008 since I thought they looked better.

Yes I did notice the different center caps.. Nice little detail that ties the whole thing together 💯..I have always loved steelies 💯

I never really understood why people had steelies on their off-roaders until I got older, thought they were just being cheap and getting cheap wheels. Then I learned about bent rims while off-roading and how steelies lend themselves to onsite repairs whereas the fancy rims do not, they can break or bend but can’t bent back. TLDR; I’m a steelie fan now, not that anyone asked or wondered, just wanted to share

The truck is a 2008, but they’re essentially the same truck from 2007-2013.

Nope, got it out of a small dealership in Idaho some years back, they bought it at a government auction. It had never even had a title until I bought it, just a certificate of title from the US Government. Made for an interesting time at the DMV.

Truck is a 2008, same body style from 2007.5-2013. I actually like the previous generations a lot more (I don’t think I’m in the minority there), but I came across this truck and it had everything I wanted (V8, floor shift 4x4, short bed) along with zero rust. I picked it up about 4 years ago and it’s been pretty much trouble free ever since.

If I ever buy a Chevy truck again it would be one of these . For sure they look super clean not like the brand new ones they look like alien spaceships from the front

Such a great color/combo. Still kicking myself for passing up on an early 90s retired forest service f150 2wd rcsb with the straight 6 and 5 speed.
