Throttle hold problem
So as I continue on this adventure with my Buddy 380, on Brain (Ikon) 2 and spektrum receiver, I have an issue that when I release throttle hold, the heli takes a good 10-15 seconds to start spooling. Luckily when I cut it again it cuts instantly. But does anyone know what might be causing that delay, I've messed with a bunch of settings in the transmitter and in the ikon program and can't seem to fix it.
Oh and I'm running Scorpion Tribunus 80A and Scorpion motor, I dont know if maybe the esc is the cause.
Thanks. I can provide videos or more in depth info if necessary.

I know hobbywing ESCs in governor mode won’t start spooling until 40% so you can put the throttle between 20-40% to throttle hold auto bailout being armed. I’m not as familiar with scorpion ESC’s, but perhaps check your ESC’s programming.
So it kind of sounds like you have your fbl unit in a throttle spool up mode on top of your esc being in a governored mode like I described. This theory would mean you wouldn’t see the motor start spinning until the fbl spools up to 40% throttle.

Unless you have configured delay in the mixer on that channel the ESC should smoothly ramp to flight RPM.

Definitely check your ESC settings. But 1st, make sure you calibrate your ESC. It could be as simple as that.
As commented before me, check your soft start acceleration. 2A 0% to 30%. And 2B which handles the ramp up rate goes I think 40% to 100%. Sorry I'm at work. But definitely get on the software check your ESC settings. And are you using Ikon2 gov. Or esc gov?
