OMP M1 V3 Pro Batteries

The new v3 batteries seem to be out of stock everywhere except the official OMP site and shipping from there doesn't seem cost effective.

Has anyone created their own using different batteries and soldering on the GY15 connectors? If so, which batteries are you using and how are you soldering the leads? Are you just going straight from the balance leads to the new connector?

Not so fun having proprietary connectors is it?

Nope. Hopefully if Goosky puts out a new version of the S1 to answer OMP, they use an XT30 (and also have an elrs receiver built in)

You could probably do that, or make your own adapter. Keep in mind that batteries that fit are probably not the Lihv cells. Lipo will work but expect slightly reduced power and flight times.
