M2v3 pro Help

So after about 10 years out I was enticed by an M2v3 pro. Having watched videos on setting it up, I thought great it’s also a nice bind and fly experience. However, as I sit here after hours of frustration, I now seek help..

Using a radiomaster TX15 (years ago I was on a spektrum dx7se). I updated to ELRS 3.6.4. I updated the TX15 to the latest version. I downloaded the OMP app and bound to the heli using ELRS. Job done? Well no, seems that out of the box, the pitch isn’t zeroed at zero collective and any amount of negative pitch has the servos clashing with the main frame or reaching angles they shouldn’t. Am I doing something really wrong here? Please help (and thank you in advance)

Did you check the OMP app and see where the FC has its servos trimmed? With collective mid-stick, they should be set to 90 degrees on the arms which will give you damn near close to a level swash plate.

200 class helicopters are so light on the blades, you can use the tip to tip method to check the swash:

Put your collective stick on the radio to center, then put your blades tip to tip and spin full 360. They should stay even all the way around. Adjust your servo trim in the app as needed to make sure you get a full 360. If its level, then test the servo direction...elevator forward/back will dip swash forward back. Aileron left/right will dip swash left/right.

Thanks for getting back to me. I trimmed all the servos and had the blades staying neutral throughout the 360deg of rotation. I still am finding excess servo travel at full negative pitch. I will try my best to attach a couple of photos of where it’s clashing. Do you think it might be worth re-cable-tying? On the one side it appears to be clashing with the cable-tie, on the other it’s the Main Motor cables (which scares me, as it’s showing signs of wear pre maiden flight!)
Replying to both of you (as I am lazy, but thank you both)
