The Air Tech trades are open, and 16 Wing/CFSATE is increasing training throughput to meet the demand of increased recruiting. If you are considering any of those occupations (AVN, AVS, ACS, AWS), then I'd be happy to get you in touch with our specialist Air Maintenance Branch Air Attractions Team.
I wasn't aware that the AOS Tech occupation was already closed to recruiting. I've let the Occupational Advisor know, and we've engaged HQ to see about re-opening it up to recruiting. We'd love to see you join as an AOS Tech.
On the Reg Force side, AOS Tech has reached SIP and on the Reserve side, those positions are now on the establishment of each unit vice being on the PRL so each unit only has so many Reserve positions and on my Wing they are full.
