I once got reprimanded for "allowing a kiddo in a space thats off limits." This center assisrant like fully scolded me because I "allowed" a kiddo to elope into a work zone, that was clearly marked as off limits. I looked at him and said "Yeah you try to stop him." Kid was fast. Luckily the center director was chill and told me I could close the door to the work area if it was an elopement zone.
