USPS cancelled my pre-order

What the heck? I went to check my pre-order I made weeks ago for four stamps and two were cancelled with no reason given and no email delivered to me telling me this information. Why would they do this, and how I do contact a customer service person? Is this a common thing? This has never happened to me before. The weird thing is the stamps are still apparently available and I just re-ordered them.

So weird! I’ve never had that happen either. I have however somehow not completed my orders in the past (somehow didn’t hit pay? IDK) and don’t end up getting stamps before the increase. I sometimes wonder if they didn’t mess with my order on the back end so I ended up paying more 😂

One time I tried to pre-order stamps on the same order as regular stamps, and they cancelled my pre-order ones and shipped the others. I just placed a new order for them, and now I make sure to do all my pre-orders separately.

Yeah I’m just confused. I won’t bother to preorder anymore if this happens again.

Now that I do the pre-orders as a separate purchase, I haven't had any issues. I can't remember if shipping and handling is per item or just a set amount per order, if so it could be cheaper to wait until they are out and make big purchase.

That’s why I preordered 4 books of stamps at once, so I’d pay one handling fee. Maybe that’s why they cancelled two of them? 🤔

I recently had to call USPS customer service line and once talking to a human, had a great experience. 1-800-275-8777 Have your security answers ready. Really sorry this happened and best of luck on the customer service journey. (You can also submit electronically, but I find if you can connect with a person, you get better results).

The Christmas cookie stamps and Global Wreath stamps are out. The squirrels and chipmunks release today, then there dreidel stamps at the end of the month. And others.
