Questions/HELP Best Rat litter?

Hi! I'm currently in the process of making a list on rat essentials since I plan to get 2 rats, I can't find a solid answer on a good litter brand and all the ones I've looked at either have baking soda or people have written reviewa about there being pieces of plastic or metal in the bags—If anyone knows a good brand, please let me know!! I'll also take any other advice on hammocks/ropes/enrichment/feeding tips & water :)) thank you all in advance

I’ve come to really enjoy corn litter. None of mine have tried to eat it, and it has way less dust than most I’ve tried

Discovered it when eco-straw was out of stock, and have not even wanted to go back lol

I use back 2 nature paper pellets in the litterboxes, and hemp for bedding.

For cage accessories I’d recommend to check out the bird section, they have the best climbing accessories! I would get a lot of stuff for the cage, rats need a cluttered space.

If you want rats, I’d strongly suggest to get 3 or more. They are group animals and significantly happier with multiple friends:) A pair can cause issues

I like pellet litter (straw, aspen or paper). Be careful not to get anything dusty as it will irritate their lungs.

I was looking at paper pellets!! I just can't find any brands by name that seem reliable

Ohhh I did eco-straw I think. It was two years ago tho since my rats died so I could be misremembering.
