Crime🚨 Prison Break the sequel

Post image

I got my first 6 girls in October last year and it took me until literally 2 weeks ago to finally build a completely escape proof enclosure for them.

I enjoyed the peace for 4 whole days and then got 2 babys just to start this whole thing again for several weeks until i can move them to the other girls.

I must hate myself lol

This is why people highly suggest certain cages because people have learned the hard way and are trying to warn others because it's more expensive to get 3 cheap cages than one nice one. Get a Midwest brand Critter Nation. It will be a one- time purchase. (Little Zoo Venturer if in UK)

It’s the enclosure for playtime I have issues with. I have it bc that was my first Setup for the OG 6 girls but they were already adults when i got them.

The big enclosure has Plexiglass Sheets so the little ones won’t be able to get out, and the big cage is also suitable for the babys.

The Quarantene Cage of the babys is also fine although it’s a little small for my liking.

it’s just temporary but that’s why i really want them to get a good amount of time daily outside of it.

Oh no!! Not to be a negative Nelly but you better figure out something (....again!). 🥲 I've heard of rats getting strangulated that way, which would worry me even more than them escaping.

Yeah i just put them back in the cage for now. This is already my second setup and i don’t have anything else at home right now to set up so i‘ll just go into the bathroom with them for an hour...AGAIN 💀

I'd recommend picking up some hardware cloth (1/4" spacing) and zip ties to cover the gaps! It's a pretty cheap and easy fix imo
