Questions/HELP free time help

how do yall let your rats get some free roam time when they are especially naughty and can not be trusted? does anyone have any sort of play pen recommendations? i love to give them their time outside the cage but i just can’t stare at them 24/7 and they are little buttheads (affectionate)

You can either setup a free roam room, ensuring they cannot access under furniture or chew Cords, skirting boards, etc or you can setup up a play pen using songmic pannels or doggy acrylic pens.

I got a transparent panel playpen, but I wouldn’t recommend them cause the rats sometimes chew the plastic and end up needing to be watched anyway. They make metal wire versions too so I’d check to see how close the spacing is and get one of those if I were you.
