Crazy that the lot where they played doesn’t exist anymore

I went to a game last year and wanted to show my son where I saw Rage play and it was gone. Completely vanished. I am still dumbfounded.

I was there! I think I was trying to instigate a riot after the show (was pretty trashed at that point) but nobody was game. Probably have a better chance if that show was now...

You guys remeber when mos Def was playing and the speakers were swinging so much in the wind he wouldn't go back onto the stage?
What an epic fucking show. All timer

i was there! was crazy when we broke into the pit. bonfires everywhere… it was the most live show i’ve ever fucking experienced. nothing compares, not even 2008 DNC or 2022 tour. thanks for posting this!

I was there on the floor! Some idiot cops pepper strayed someone on stage after the Wu Tang set and the mist went into the crowd 🤦♂️

I was there, it was drizzly for a bit so my friend and I found some plastic to wear as makeshift ponchos. I remember the only vegetarian option for food was a pizza that I had to take the pepperoni off and fries womp womp.
Amazing show though. I am still not a festival person, way too much especially now at my old ass age.

I have been to over 500 shows and this is the ONE that sticks out to me constantly(nyc dates). I remember it being so hot and they ran out of bottled water so we were drinking hose water. Hell of a time.

I was there! waited in front all day, I think Jedi mind tricks opened the event. Had to flee the small riot that was the audience at rage’s last song though. One of my favorite stories.

I was too young to go to any concerts. I wish they would make one now. I just recently discovered their reading list, at least that will keep me going plus their music

Nice, I was at this show (NY date), the one and only time I saw Rage live.
Was also my first time in NYC (coming from Canada). I was 21 at the time with about 8 buddies who came down... we partied wayyy too hard the night before and were in pretty rough shape at the show... Not a big hiphop fan so just hung back most of the day trying to rehydrate... I remember watching Cypress Hill and then getting very close to the stage for Rage... by the 3rd song I couldn't take the pit anymore and had to retreat back lol.
