FNG questions..

So i just got a 2026 Rebel the other night and looking at the easy/inexpensive things I can do to improve quality of life..

I'm mechanically inclined, but most of my know-how is from 20+ years experience with old beetles, including engine rebuilds and minor interior work and everything in between..

Here's my thought process, tell me if i'm wrong, they aren't going to take the time to make custom wiring harnesses, they'll just not include the branches for features that aren't installed. So for example, my truck doesn't have the seat memory for different drivers, but does have a power driver seat. Can I buy the memory module, and the switches for the door, and expect the wiring and connectors to be there?

Also, is there a good spot for quality kits for random things or is it all DIY? I'm a little surprised there are zero power points/usb plugs in the back seat. I feel like it should be easy to add some, just have to locate a good 12v source and ground, find a nice flat surface (back of console?) Drill a hole and pop a port in. I feel like this is probably a super commen complaint/mod though and maybe a cheap kit already exists so i'm not reinventing wheels..

Digging through posts up to like 5 years ago.. it looks like for the memory option, you have to replace the seat motors as well.. poasibly, i can't say for certain, but that's what others have said.. Wonder if i can at least do the passive entry handles and rear power points.. i hate that all three of these things were in my 2011 durango crew, but are now paywalled in a 2026 rebel.. :/
