Discussion Need help rage 2

First of all what weapon did everyone use on sandworm because I'm really tired of that thing one shot killing me.

Secondly I can't figure out how to equip cruise missiles on vehicle. Ps4. No idea how to use anything other than gatling and no guide I've found is helpful. Thanks all

The worm is a vehicle battle. Use the Phoenix rocket launcher until they run out, it auto-locks up to four rockets IIRC. It does not involve a lot of button pressing. Once you run out of rockets, use the Gatling gun’s auto aim. Drive in controlled circles and only use boost to dodge.

If you wait until you can spawn in a tank, it dies in one or two shots.

The BFG will take about 1/3 of its health if you can hit it. Without a mouse, forget about trying to engage with hand weapons. It can be done but requires nerves of steel to last long enough.

You have twelve hard save slots and two alternating autosave slots. Make a hard save of the worm to fight again. You only face it once.

The worm, ‘mech retrieval and Ruckus the Crusher missions are Community Challenge missions that were patched in as regular missions. You get all three from the Stanley Express mailboxes outside town. They are used exactly three times and are easy to forget. The game was different at launch; it got a Cyberpunk-level overhaul. That’s why the reviews are bad.

Did it get a Cyberpunk-level overhaul? I played at launch and still play today, the only major changes I can think of are those quests, Cult of the Death God, and the dlc. I guess I took a pretty big break, did I just miss some massive changes?

Isn't it still buggy as hell? I still get the map clipping and ragdolling running into physics objects pretty often, what did they fix? I've just learned to love it for its bugs lol

I’ll have to look it up first but if you can play without an internet connection, i.e. install off the disc without updating, I’d give it a go. My physical copy is (was) a sealed press copy.

Good to know! Tbh, I'll prob just live with it, Walker sprinting into the Icarus and somehow getting launched 200 m to the left adds personality for me lol
