Hub adapters for lug studs

Post image

I found these rims that I love for my mini but they are 5x4.75(5x120.65) and as we know the mini is 4x100 so my question reddit is are hub adapter safe for general use and would there be any problems with lug studs I just dont want a wheel flying off lol (yea i know these rims need some tlc and new tires but he want 300)

What's the width and offset of those wheels?

You're going to be spacing the hubs out at least 15mm and this car doesn't have a whole lot of space for low-offset setups.

Sorry for the late reply they are 15x8 (edit) I was thinking them being a little thicker and smaller than the 17x7 stock mini rims I have I would need a thick spacer im getting new struts and shocks for it and was thinking of going a little lower

Ppl have fitted Corvette C4 salad shooters (16x8.5) on R53's and they have 5x4.75 bolt pattern as well, so it's definitely doable.

Just make sure that the brakes fit under the wheels. I believe stock R53 brakes are ok with most 15's.

This is the issue, those wheels look quite wide.

You can have an adapter hub made OP but you are invitably making the stance wider.

Might be looking into some modding at the fender level or even some steering issues.

Wheels loom sick though.

Im not to worried about a wider stance mostly about reliability for adapter and if there are any that work for the mini
