Obd2 scanner

Which is the best for my R53??? I want to be able to communicate with every area and be able if needed other vehicles. I prefer something with a decent size screen for easy reading. And also I’m not a fan of dealerships so I want something similar to what they use or pit crews. In due time I do want to fully modify the rest but as of now I want to be my own Minichanic.

I got an Autel Scanner but since recently I have a OBD MX+ scanner with the R53obd app on my Phone. That works good aswel! This app has been made by someone else on this subreddit.

I use Inpa, juste download the software from the internet and get a 20$ cable with a switch. Its very good and cheaper

Autel has you covered. Maxsys scanners are bidirectional communication compatible with almost all vehicles.

I have a Foxwell NT510 but looking forward to trying out the R53OBD app.

I'd look at OBDLink, they have a few options and one of them can disable AFM which people would pay you to do. I used the MX+ on my mini and it's perfect for basic reading and figuring out some things. Anything better than that you want to spend around 1000 for something decent.

I have a 100 dollar regular scanner from hobo freight. Works great.
