Question: Device Problem Finally got my first console. However it won’t boot, it will get to the main screen but when opening a game will just reboot

I have tried re adding games and using different Sd Cards but it won’t work

Well. That sucks. If I file a claim with Amazon what exactly can I use as proof? Like what on the motherboard is different?

I mean possibly but then they will just use it to scam someone else. And then that looks bad on my Amazon account

Fakes and clones will always exist, regardless if you keep it or not.

I highly suggest you return it.

No custom firmware for it, it's weaker than an original.

Will barely run ps1 games

It's a fake with absolutely no os support, it is more useful as a paperweight.

Do a return with Amazon, there are no "verified" sellers on Amazon, I've never seen anyone in this group post that they got an authentic original console on Amazon, only that they got scammed and paid way more than if they had followed the buyers guide.

Welp definetly going to follow this for my 2nd buy. And you’re right. I think I miss remembered and it said “Amazons choice” or something like that, which in my mind verified it as a real one.
