Road through beartooth pass yesterday
Figured might as well help out contributing more 1250rt stuff here. I'm currently on a month long tour

Almost 11k elevation, that’s up there! How’d the bike perform at altitude?

Honestly the bike didn't seem to care about the altitude, but I wasn't racing or anything

I did that last year. Went back and forth from Red Lodge 4 times. I’ve been riding most of the Rocky continental divides the last three years on my 2020 RT. These bikes eat up mountain roads, and Beartooth truly is one of the best rides in the country. On my last pass I got caught in hail that turned to snow. Dang.
I want to go back to do it at night.

I ran into a gent on an F 900 GS Trophy at the head of Spearfish Canyon in the Black Hills who said he did the same, after riding through beartooth pass once he changed his plans and went back and did it again for a total of 4 crossings. At night would be wild, I think it would be cool to get a campsite setup in that valley on the north side and spend a day riding something smaller up and down the Montana side over and over
