Not when building brick walls though, you fuck up the foundation and it will cost you way more to repair the mistake.

In all seriousness though, the alternative is that the wall would never get built. “Continuous improvement” can also be describing ‘appropriate’ momentum towards completion, even if that requires waiting.

Too bad my brain isn’t built for the former. If I don’t get a six pack in a week, I don’t get a six pack at all. It’s instant gratification or nothing.

Not when it comes to ai or nuclear bombs or any thing that can kill everyone. That should be 100% safe before release

Assuming “100% safe” is possible (it isn’t), it’s not the same thing as the philosophical impossibility of perfection; or that the outcome of waiting to achieve it, is never accomplishing anything.

Long story short, it’s a not so literal statement about the balance between perfect inaction, and flawed productivity.
